So I have never seen one of your videos before, but whenever I get into a bit of a funk I always turn to haloween for comfort. You got some amazing finds! Lovely haul. I needed the vibes! I'd rock all of this all year. My husband and I keep it spooky all the time, and when it gets hot and miserable with too much sun like now we really need some Halloween in our lives. I love Halloween. I fill bags full of Halloween themed items for my grandchildren and I've already started. Yesterday I ordered wooden Jack o lanterns puzzles for them and some Goosebumps books. Plus I purchased your Helga book months ago. I've already started buying their Christmas gifts, too. It's always better to be prepared!

It’s never too soon for Halloween! The owl is beautiful and if the hat doesn’t fit you can always use it in decorating. You can find something to put it on. Soooo cute!

Thanks! I've thought about doing a summer tour - this is actually the first year that I have decorated a few areas of the house specifically for summer. Usually I take away the spring decorations and fill in with a few antiques until I start recording Halloween in July. If I feel there is enough summer décor around the house, I might record a quick summer tour - or create a vlog. I'm so glad you like your witch pin! :)

Do you recall what was the very first item, way back when, you decided to begin collecting - regardless of the theme? And, what's the biggest 'find' money wise you've ever found at a garage sale or thrift store? I found a pair of vintage mushroom lamps at a thrift store about 20 years ago and paid $25 for the pair. They are now worth $400 apiece. Now that was a good find. Still wishing you were my neighbor!

Hi Andrew! I started collecting miniature oil lamps when I was in middle school & found a pair of barn shaped ones for $6 that I later had appraised at the Antique's Road Show (they said they were worth $150 for the pair). It's hard to say what my best bargain thrift store/garage sale find is - I find so many things! :) I found an entire brand new china set at goodwill for $15 (8 settings) and looked up replacement plates online to find that they were $40 per plate. I purchased a $40 Cambridge green depression glass swan when they are usually $100-$200 each. I search and collect so many vintage items from dishware to butter-molds and I usually only purchase them if they are a bargain or extremely unusual :) Sounds like you got a great thrift store find on those lamps! :)

Hi! :) Currently I am only selling unsigned copies as the books are printed and shipped through Amazon. I decided to have this book on Amazon this time to make it available to more people as the books I sold on my website (last fall) were hard to keep in stock with shipping delays from the other printer. Through Amazon it will be available all the time as it is print on demand :)

I had a bad day this morning until your new video came now and Im smiling! Its so good to see early Halloween hauls because I love Halloween! Hi Christopher! It's nice to know that there is a Halloween variety store website! I believe you put all of your fans in a Halloween mode!LOL!
