In all of these chords there’s a note that is kind of bridging the gap between two chords, ie it’s a half step between both chords. very interesting a useful information

Is the Mediant Shift is the same idea as Borrowed chord? G Major borrowed the iv from G minor which is Cm, am I right?
@MusicMattersGB
@MusicMattersGB 3 жыл бұрын
Borrowed chords such as your illustration are different. The submediant shift is about using pivot notes, as is the mediant shift.

Sir I have a question that I have to know the answer to,do you have perfect pitch?
@MusicMattersGB
@MusicMattersGB 3 жыл бұрын
No but I have relative pitch, which is useful for any musician.
@ronenrozenberg8742
@ronenrozenberg8742 3 жыл бұрын
@@MusicMattersGB ohhhhh 😂 I'll tell you why I asked, because I've been watching your videos for a while now(which by the way I find very useful) and you've been humming the notes correctly (I have perfect pitch so I heard) and I was like:man if that guy doesn't have perfect pitch then he must have an extremely developed relative pitch if he can hum a note correctly
