Wet sanding and polishing a fully resprayed 1994 BMW E34 Touring. I waited so long to do this, over three months to be exact, just to ensure the paint was fully cured and as hard as it could be, to achieve the finish I want. Which I got! Under my ownership I have only had older BMW's with somewhat acceptable paint, always areas of failure, always a mismatched panel, always dents and bruises. This is the first time I have really been able to see one of my cars looking better than the day it rolled out of a factory sometime in 1994. Was It terrifying and extremely redundant to sand brand new paint, absolutely. But this result is everything I wanted and I believe a very much OEM+ finish.
