I've been a huge fan of Jerry "The King" Lawler, his championship titles and his artwork. His artwork inspires me so much to becoming a cartoonist and a writer.

I studied painting and I'm from Brownsville,Tn.I grew up watching Jerry Lawler on Channel 5 Wrestling as a child.I am almost 60 years of age and I admire Jerry Lawler more today than I ever admired him.Mr. Lawler is a good man and a dreamer and he is living a most memorable life.

I looked up "Jerry Lawler cartoon" on KZfaq, hoping to find the segment from Monday Night Raw where he showcased some hilarious cartoon art depicting him stomping out the Ultimate Warrior. Instead, I stumbled upon this. I have to admit, the cartoon art he was holding up looked way more fun than the Warrior comic. It's clear the man isn't exaggerating his drawing talents. This is really impressive to see. Hope he's doing well.

Was that a picture of SIVAD by The Penguin? Flashback: Memphis Christmas Parade about 1969 or 1970. He was riding in a convertible in the parade. As a young child, I was terrified. Why was this SCARY guy mixed in with happy Christmas. Scared the poop out of me. LOL Thanks Jerry for the laugh.

I just purchased The Lone Ranger Death Of Zorro comic from Jerry a couple days ago (I needed SOMETHING for him to autograph and loved that cover…lol). I knew he was an artist and had seen some of his work but had no clue that he was as talented as he is! I took note of his Superman ring but didn’t know he was such a huge Superman fan! If I ever get to meet him again, I have a Superman gift I will be sure to give him! Better yet, I’ll trade it to him for an original Lawler Batman sketch!

this cameraman is horrible. the king will be telling a story on his art and the camera won't even zoom in

I highly doubt that's the exact same art set that King used in the 50s. The pencils & eraser look like they've never been touched.

He said the eraser there had a lot of use and you can see a couple of the pencils were used. If he had other pencils he used (highly likely) then he would find huge value in just that book, which he did reference. I would say this is the same set he received as a gift, he just had more use for the book which discusses techniques than the tools to create said images. Plus if he used them enough, many of those items could actually be replacements.
