bonaventure mativenga I honestly think it's gonna be tough this year. I hope he gets it but Junior Gong's album is this and Protoje is this year too. All albums that I think will be great. But it would be nice to have someone apart from a Marley winning every damn year. And I love Gong btw but I think his father's name is so strong that you can't avoid some biases of choice here...

You're comparing reggae with reggae which is natural. Bu this man transcends reggae. He's a musical artist and is comparable if not superior in skill and gravitas to most contemporary artists, regardless of genre. so let's not just limit him to the reggae category, please.
