I have a ps1 remastered version of it. Bought it about 14 years ago.

I saw that special attack on the demo that plays on the snes version when you stay too long in the title screen, on the demo that thing do so much damage. So, one day I mastered all frog's abbilities and unlocked the giant frog, when I was gonna test, the spell did zero dmg, was a very sad day :( If only I've got a lil more xp...

Ever since the second time I played Chrono Trigger, I always use the names Nadia and Glenn, making their respective identity reveals somewhat undermined.

One thousand percent. I really loved the first 4 FF games, and the world they created, but Chrono Trigger in my mind is the best JRPG ever created, for many reasons. Flawless story design, lovable characters, a compelling storyline... even the music. Just perfect. I played this almost 30 years ago and still feel all heroic and nostalgic whenever this song comes on.

I mean to be fair, Chrono Trigger is jam packed with content and was the first game ever to implement New Game +. On top of that, unlike Link To The Past, Chrono Trigger got a port to the Nintendo DS.

It could very well be, and the SNES had multiple masterpieces. Chrono Trigger A Link to the Past Earthbound Super Metroid Super Mario RPG I'm not a big Final Fantasy fan but I know FFVI is considered one of the best in the series. I think the Donkey Kong Country series you could also argue to be in that list as well.

Nah, the original has gorgeous visual art and direction, the only thing I would want to see is a high quality CRT filter to make it *REALLY* look like it did on CRT televisions, the light of the pixels mixed and blended, making everything softer, smoother and (as unintuitive as it sounds) more detailed (the pixel art was designed with CRT in mind, is was a calculated effect), while also allowing for colors to mix resulting in colors the SNES pallet couldn't do.

No, I want a full 3D remake in the style of Dragon Quest XI. Either make a full remake like that, or don't bother since the original is already amazing.
