Did you set up the FX properly from the beginning and position it properly? I have two and have never had a problem... Tens of thousands of rounds. Rechargeable batteries!

👋🏾sup brAh! Worked great when I first bought it last year🤔!? So it not a question of how I set it up! Sent back to Fx over the summer response use lithium batteries! Work ok🙄 but not as well as when I bought it new using alkaline or rechargeable batteries 😳🙄 braddah👊🏾😎

I have a FX chronograph. The only thing I had was no instructions included, and watched a couple of videos but didn't actually show you setting it up found out by messing around with it and setting it up properly. Once I sorted that out find it a fantastic bit of kit small and handy to keep with me. Good video.

Thanks for your honest review bro. I still use my good old Chrony Alpha Master bought way back in 2009 from Pyramydair. It uses a single 9V battery. It works fine until now or after 13 years. Old school rules!

well the pro chrono is the most consistent out of the first two, i would throw the xcor away its way to inconsistent, i have the fx chronograph and not had a problem in two years, just need to set it up properly and position it properly

Interesting opinion, but I have in stock 4 chronographs from the business for $ 35 to labrodar for $ 700 and here chronograph from FX gives a completely honest reading, has never been wrong, has an attractive price and is incredibly compact, so in my opinion you have a biased attitude or lack of competence in this matter

@@airgunspestingch.8426 Maybe put it in front of the gun lol (kidding you). I am using it just for Airguns. There is a setting for speed range. If your projectile is outside the range, of course it won’t work.

I have a Caldwell and compared it to the FX chrono. FX give me a spread of 20-30FPS. Caldwell gives me a spread of 5-10FPS. Yet I’m getting tight groups. So which one is telling the correct speed.

So true. Mine worked ok the first year. Did get a lot of no reads. But overall have come to find out now, that it isn't giving true readings. Compared it to 5 different chronographs. The false readings sure cost me with trying to tune some rifles.

I bought a chronograph from Amazon, cheap $35 measures fps,mps and fpe works very well.And hold 40 count shot string

I use the FX chrony and it's dedicated FX screen with rechargeable batteries and the thing works flawlessly but it needs some care. The FX chrony is small, gets thrown around (by accident) falls on the ground, gets dirt in /on it and get's slammed on the floor or table while under the barrel. If I look at the shape of the FX unit in this video I can't help but think that it had a rough life. It's dented, scratched, stained, dirty and full of dust. And although every dent and scratch can probably be explained, the dust on it does not, it's just poor maintenance. Dust and electronics don't mix.

The radar won't work with all that crap in front of you, it needs clearance to work properly

My thoughts exactly. I bought the FX because my LabRadar wasn’t picking up my shots. I am shooting at a decline and have a berm about 15’ in front of me that I believe was causing problems. No problems with the FX attached to the rifle. Ensure that you are set to the highest speed and the sensitivity is 20 for a starting point.

👋🏾sup brAh! Lithium cost more! Not necessarily when alkaline works as good😉 oh and Fx replace the chrony and works just fine with alkaline! Don’t get so worked up over Fx products 😉braddah👊🏾😎

Lol, you ever think maybe yours is broken? It looks like it got used and abused. Mine works great. It misses a few shot here and there and it does go through batteries, but other than that, it works flawlessly, and you don'thave to shoot through a tiny hole like that reject amazon one. Sounds like you're pretty biased towards FX for whatever reason. Also not sure how old yours is, but mine is about 2 years old and doesn't need lithium batteries, ittakes alkaline just fine.

👋🏾sup brAh! When I did the video just got it back from Fx 🙄 Never abused especially for what I paid for it ! Heck that Amazon one and the longer one works better than the Fx😉fact! Even the new one they sent me still misses shots more the the others but at least the one they sent me works better than the first one I bought. I carry my Amazon one as backup when the Fx has a bad day🙄 braddah👊🏾😎

@Airguns & Pesting Ch. I just saw the model number of yours fxchr21 mines the newer model fxchr22, so maybe they ironed out some of the flaws your model had. Aside from the somewhat poor battery life and occasional non read, I couldn't ask for much more In a 3 inch x 3 inch footprint. Accuracy wise I would imagine it's not as pinpoint accurate as that big one you have on the table, but that's the trade-off I can fit this thing in my pocket.

Lol my FX chronograph works fine I don't have any problems with it and I also have one like your little eBay one that was my 1st chronograph My Fx is awesome I don't have any issues with it the only problem I have would be the battery use.

👋🏾sup brAh! The Fx use to work just fine!? Sent it in to Fx said I need to use lithium batteries so I switched to lithium worked ok but was still giving me problems as you heard in the video! I’m gonna contact Fx again on their piece of junk to see if they will exchange it 🙄braddah👊🏾😎

It's a peace of shit imo for 200 bucks nah FT my regular chrony the brand chrony it folds I'm sure you hae seen it reads more accurate then the fx and its off by 15 to 20 fps well mine is so I don't go off of it I have to use both and go in the middle like wtf I don't know which one is true so I do validation shot

👋🏾sup brAh! After I posted this video I contacted Fx again about their crappy chrony and told them their chrony still not working correctly! They sent me a new one and so far knock on wood 🪵 it’s at least reading braddah👊🏾😎
