answer to question number 1? marking jumps means to not actually do them, just do arm motions & thats probably why they dont jump in the video, so that the people trying out see exactly how its done... :) hope i helped abit x

@MegaCountrygal09 there in the back and at first when there loading in they push up on the flyer on and kinda helps them stand up and then once there up there they pull up on their ankes and trys to get as much weight off the bases as possible:) so yea if u have any more questions just ask!!

@ThatSoJamie smile, even when your not performing, there are always bonus points for enthusiasm, dont be afraid to ask for a spotter, dont be shy- if you cant remember the dance steps ask them to repeat them!!, also if you cant see the dance moves they're teaching you ask a girl in the row ahead of you to swap (nicely!!!), dont wear a full face of makeup, and most of all, if your having fun it shows!!!! good luck!! xxx :)

KMG- Smile ,smile, smile, and be loud (without screaming). Keep your motions stiff. Make sure your wrists aren't bent and remember that cheerleaders do not have thumbs. Look like you are having fun.They dont want to see a bored or overly nervous cheerleader.

@cchellzz cheerleading motions aren't meant to resemble or mimic "dance" choreography. cheerleading centers around cleanliness and execution. however, many cheerleading motions are not any more simple than dancing. they're just different styles. cheerleading is meant to be sharp and definitive, rather than fluid. executing clean, tight motions actually proves to be quite difficult.

I like it but i wanned more it was so good that i wanned to continue. Fabulous. I loved how there was no tricks involed

@11kbaby General cheerleading isn't a sport, but competitive cheerleading sure as hell is. Huge difference. When I was in high school, we had general cheerleading, I wish we had competitive but we wouldn't have had a squad since none of the girls had an athletic bone in their body, cept on Weekend nights but those were other peoples bones.

@amamoy1 ... they were just showing the dance part of the tryout the vocal part is separate from the dance.

@libbieb2010 thats what you do in cheer dances you usually repeat the same routine at least once

ok we were seniors and made that dance up to teach people that were trying out. we were filiming in a class room becuase they couldnt see it untill clinics we were in uniform becuase we were already on the team and graduating. and actually 3 people do it together and it was cheer tryouts.

@iluvplymouthpom actually as far as high school cheer goes, thats a very clean routine! in allstar, you get points deducted for vulgarity, HS cheerleaders dont have that restriction, and it shows...

@TheImmortalWolfy Every school is different. But at my school && at most schools the senior girls on varsity who are graduating teach you a dance && a cheer at a cheer clinic which usually lasts a week && on that Thursday they do mock tryouts which is basically showing you how tryouts are going to be && on Friday are the actual tryouts. Make sure you have your splits && jumps down pack. Tumbling isn't required but you have a better chance at making it if you do. && be confident, loud && do faci

@cheerlead223 that would be called cheerleading..you arent supposed to be loose. everyone in the team is supposed to look like they move the same and very smooth together

@shimorishiak - you dont know the first thing when it comes to cheerleading. just because cheerleaders have bad reputations doesn't mean its like that in the real world hun.we are just like any other person out there that has a passion for a sport. i would like to see you to try to do half of the things we do.
