As for Linda, I had been playing all her records from the first day I stared on-the-air September 10th, 1967, at KLID Radio. I fell in love with her then, still love her today. Talented, beautiful, natural in every way...those big brown eyes and that beautiful face could melt your heart, and if she was singing "Long Long Time", her pure, sweet voice could melt the hub caps off of a '53 Buick at 20 paces ! I remember going to one of those new at rhe time,10 multi screen theartes to see this film. Yeah it was a Friday night at 10:00 pm. The speakers were built in lining the walls on both sides of the screen. The volume was cranked for the whole movie. In this part of the film when Linda R. came out it was incredible you could hear, feel and see the passion she put out. Amazing-

I love all the musicians involved, this really knocked me down. I start to play guitar with a chuck berry lp in the 70s and I brought it very far, thank you honestly Mr. Berry.

How I long just to be in ma home back in ole St. Lou... From the audience response at that line I gotta wonder if they were here in St. Louis. I adored Chuck Berry. I used to see him alot at Ameristar Casino in St. Charles before he died. He always wore that Captain's hat... he was so friendly and spoke to anyone who spoke to him. So wish Linda could still sing... there will never be another who could sing as beautifully as she did. Soundtrack of my youth 🎼🖤

Reever - Indeed! Linda had all the vocal "tricks" - growl, break, cry, etc. The only one she didn't have was rasp but that seems like more of a vocal characteristic and her voice was ultra-smooth

Glad to find this gem… I’m so glad Linda was, for so long. She & Carrie Fisher are like talent twins to me. What a treat to see Keith Richards in a TUX too - love a well dressed man, despite a sordid history ;)
