I was once at this now-closed Chuck E Cheese that I went to when I was a child, and I noticed this dude dressed in purple walking around the arcade with kids following him. Something really felt off with that guy. We both stared at each other, briefly, while I was waiting for the tickets to spit out from the Slam-A-Winner game. The look of his hideous face solidified to me what he truly was inside - a monster. Every now and then, I wonder what happened. To him. To whatever he was doing. These recent incidents really made me think of his true motives.
