I was an extra in this movie. This is one of my most treasured memories. I got to meet Chuck and I must say, he is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. I was thrilled when the movie came out and myself, my brother and my Trans-Am had made it into the movie. Definitely one of the major highlights of my life.

A Big Thank You from a fellow Chuck Norris fan for sharing this. It is a shame that MGM did not think to include this on the DVD edition of the film. Up until 2007 this was one of the most popular films in their library even selling more copies on the various home video formats than Gone With The Wind. It is also a shame that when Shout Factory released the special edition on Blu Ray in 2016, this was not included. It would have been a nice addition.
@alucard6242 жыл бұрын
You would think Shout would've at least included this on the Blu Ray release. Must've been a clearance issue with certain individual estates or something, especially given that Norris has never really commented on any of the films he made with Cannon in the years since making them. It's a shame too because getting his take on them now after all these years is something we the fans would love to hear regardless of whether it's positive or not. Hell, quite a few of the people who participated in the Cannon documentary Electric Boogaloo were pretty frank about their experiences working with the company on their respective films they did for them.

@@alucard624 Yeah, according to director Joe Zito's audio commentary on the Shout Factory Blu Ray Chuck was quite a bit disappointed at the finished film since quite a few scenes from the screenplay he and writer James Bruner wrote together were cut from the movie to get to the action scenes faster.

Great behind the scenes of chuck norris for invasion USA 🇺🇸
@joannewozniak133 жыл бұрын
I have to say this. I went to a Florida beach in the early 90's. There were huge "ditches" in the ground like a boat would make. I started panicking and said we were invaded like this movie. Then I saw the sign for sea turtle nests!! My son never let me live this down😜😜😜 I love Chuck Norris and all his shows, but I've been in love with Richard Lynch for 41 years. The day he died I was opening a store and saw it on the internet. I almost got fired because I didn't open, I was in the bathroom crying. This is my favorite!! Watch out for sea turtles!!

@ThomasSellers4 жыл бұрын
Chuck chickened out, since we ordinary people became the real heroes and sheroes by being ourselves. Chuck Norris is just a celebrity. We the people kicked his ass 9/11 and beyond! God bless you all out there! Stay true to yourself and keep up the fight!
