one character I'll commit a crime for is Devon. Thats my son, aint never done anything wrong in his 14 years I love the way Devon and Jake have their own theme. Every time they share a scene, there is soft piano music in the background and the lighting would always get brighter when Jake looked at Devon, its their motif over the eight episodes. Little things like this can show how characters feel about one another without having to expressly say it

I don't see Oliver and his friends shoving jake and Devon into the storage closet or whatever it was as homophobia or them being mean in any way. It was a play on 7 minutes in heaven but made it hell bc Halloween🤷 should they have just been shoved in there? No. But they'd have probably have done it to whoever walked past regardless. Not because it was Jake. However if lexy had pulled that shit at MY party I wouldn't be laughing that's for sure she would have been thrown out so fast! That's where Oliver went wrong in this episode.
