So much value Sam. You give some of the most honest and straight forward advice. You should make a video talking about some of the things you struggle with or used to struggle with that you overcame. I think it would be very value-able in your current position. Keep climbing brother

I found your channel yesterday and it's a breath of fresh air. You have wisdom beyond your years and courage to tell the truth. The amount of lies and stupid information that is being fed to the public everyday is enormous. And what is really hard is staying different and not conforming to what the society likes to see. Huge majority of the programs and entertainment is created using the lowest common denominator.

Hello Sam, nice video! My question is: I can think on my 5 year, 1 year etc goals with clarity. But It's very difficult for me to be clear about the smaller steps to achieve these goals. It seems impossible to reverse engineer the steps. I just don't know exactly all the thousands of steps I need to take. What do you recommend to do? Thanks!

Awesome video Sam. People would achieve A LOT More if they better understood "delayed gratification." In my humblest opinion, I feel instant gratification can be real cancerous in your life in the long term. I agree with what you said about Social Media 1000%. It definitly has a vice grip on the mind of the majority that consumes it. "Energy Flows Where The Attention Goes." But they complain and wonder why their lives are where it is today...

Thank you so much, Sam, for sharing your knowledge and wisdom. Your lived experiences help me to process and better relate to the message and I just can't thank you enough. This is awesome and it clears up so many personal questions I had about taking on (what I call) "The Beast of Ambition". So many times throughout the Consulting Accelerator training I have found myself fixated on the end goal and that caused me to waiver in my beliefs to achieve it! I have the strengthen to persevere, but it's extremely helpful when I learn a new way to minimize my discouragements!

I have one question for you-- what happens when your goals change? What if I'm not entirely sure on what I want to be doing in 10 years? Would it be advisable to just pick something even if I don't feel 100% "passionate" about it? Thank you for this video and all the other content you put out!
@sibotron34375 жыл бұрын
If you are not sure on your goal. I would advise that you do not fixate on that goal as if you do not know where you are going with your life, or not 100% then you will keep floating around searching for that goal after a shot time. Just take a moment to sit and reflect on what you truly want to achieve whether it is: financial gain, happiness, strength. Once you ARE 100% sure on what you would like to achieve in let's say 1 year as it does not need to be 10 years. Then, we should act day by day and take the necessary action to achieve that goal. After a year passes by, what can we do THIS year to achieve this new goal. For example: I made $100,000 last year, this year I want to make $500,000. I hope this helped you out and solved your problem.

Hello Sam I finished your “face off with the devil,” last night, & started watching this video at the start of my morning. I’ve admit to why I’m not where I want to be, though I need to make my goals reality. Is there possibly a layout or way we can find out how to properly create portioned, day by day goals after re-engineering? I understand the concept of working backwards, but how do I know if I am doing the right things everyday?
@DonaldBrown2556 жыл бұрын
Hi Sam, really liked the topic for today. I even took some notes. I always find your videos to be super educational & inspiring to business and life. My questions to you are to what is the extent should we map out our goals? Would it be unproductive to map out too many LTG's? (long-term goals). Should we separate our goals into certain categories? like Career goals from personal goals? Cause Honestly, I could map out a bunch of LTGs for myself. I would just wonder if mapping out to many at once would be overwhelming. Or maybe I should adjust accordingly over time while I focus on my STGs (short-term goals)?
@thecurrentmoment6 ай бұрын
I had a lot of success when i would daily write down ten goals for the year, and three steps to accomplish them. That's Brian Tracy's book 'Goals' My experience is that i can handle and manage 3-10 things at a time, and that is a nice number of options. More than 10 starts to be way too much to handle. I think the way it works is that each thing you add doesn't just ADD complexity but it multiplies it. Each time you make a decision on how to spend your time you have to decide what is the highest priority. Each timr you do that, you have to compare each option to every other option - if you have 2 options, there is 1 comparison, with 3 options, there are 3 comparisons, with 4 options there are 6 comparisons, amd so on. My guesstimate for 10 options is 45 comparisons (9+8+7+6+5+4+3+2+1), so it is a lot to compare. In practice it is not as difficult as that, but the point is that there is an upper limit on how many different goals you can coordinate, and for me about 10 feels like that limit. But there are ways to chunk them out - e.g. maybe different financial goals can be integrated under the main financial goal of "retire early with $100,000 income" or something, and under that goal is "build a business", " invsst in the sharemarket", etc. If you want a clwsr strategy, i would say to do what he suggests in the video - start with the big picture stuff and chunk it down to smaller pieces. Decide on one major goal for each area of your life (e.g. relationships, finances, health, life purpose, personal development, etc), you ultimate goals, and then work out 10 year goals, 1 year goals, etc. But you probably only want to have up to 10 goals for each level, i.e. 10 goals for the year, 10 goals for the month, for the week, for the day, etc Hope that helps
