For those who don't know, I am asexual! When I told one of my sisters, she asked if there were any songs about asexuality. I thought that was a great idea so here we are! This song really only covers the basics; asexuality and aromance (aromanticism? Aromanticity?) are so much more complicated than how they're presented here, but hopefully it's a good introduction!

I have fun shipping couples, and writing my own love stories. I'm happy to see other people happy. I just don't want that kind of stuff for myself. When I imagine anyone besides me touching me down there, it makes me want to cross my legs. When I imagine kissing someone it makes me purse my lips in uncomfortableness. but I can still imagine the happiness other people can get out of that stuff because I believe them when they say it's right for them. You have an amazing amount of empathy because you can get a great idea of the kind of passion and happiness others feel while at the same time understanding that, that is not you.

I'm aro/ace myself and I still enjoy, cry, and laugh during love stories and songs. Though I could never see myself kissing or doing it with someone or even having a significant other. Because I am on the severe end of the spectrum, there are others who range differently. You can be aro and or ace, and still want a significant other. It all depends on you and what you're comfortable with. You may not be completely closed off like I am, but that doesn't make you any less valid.

This was amazing!! I'm not Aromantic or Asexual myself but I love writing stories with one of the main characters as Aro/Ace. I think they're really underrated in the story writing community cause almost every story has some sort of Romeo and Juliet in it. I really liked this song and I think its beautiful!

Why isn’t she more popular? Her singing is so amazing. The part where you say “we just want to be friends and that’s enough for us” (or something a long those lines) was exactly how I feel. I often get asked if I get lonely but I’m not lonely I’m just happily alone.
