Because of the line "it'll be easier next time", I feel like this movie was probably some kind of initiation. Like the 'parents' in masks were initiating their 'daughter' into their crazy murder lifestyle by going to a wealthy, secluded neighborhood (easy targets) and just knocked on door after door until someone answered. This couple's only crime was being in the wrong place at the wrong time... and also answering a random knock at the door at 4 AM, like wtf
