I never got married because I need so much alone time. It’s unfortunate but it’s true. People have really beared down on me over the years asking me why I never married and I said well I felt I was doing someone a favor. After all, it would be pretty hurtful to have your wife tell you every few months that they needed to go off and be alone for six weeks at a time. I don’t think that would bode too well for a happy marriage. Now that I’m older I’m actually very relieved that I never got married. I realize that some people just aren’t wired for it. I’ve always admired people who thrive in marriages and who choose to love one another and stick together over a lifetime. It is truly a very sacred and beautiful thing to share your life’s journey with one person. My parents had an extraordinarily happy marriage and I always found it so mystifying that all four of their children never wanted to marry.

I’ve been married 38 years, went through some real rough patches, but wow are we glad we worked through them. My 3 children have lil ones and we are lovin life, growing older together. You’ll be so glad you hung in there. Men and women are so different, but I believe that’s how God works the fruit of the Spirit in our lives. love you, you’re awesome! ❤❤

I'm the wife in our 30 yr marriage, and I would love Baldwin -ville❤ I love it when the husband travels for a week for work. I love it when the weather gets nice and he plays golf all the time with friends, and I love it when he cant make it home on his lunch hour . He wanted to get married 3 months after we got together😂 We are both lovers of Jesus, and our marriage has seemed untraditional to most. I had one person years ago get upset that we keep our finances separate....we have the family money, and then he has his and I have mine...and we happen to also be a bit on the territorial side about spaces, special treats, and things like that 😂..We actually don't argue anymore because we both get to be together when we want, and be apart when we want....and we can now actually laugh about that. It's a unique marriage, but maybe that's why it works. It's not boring😂❤

Chynna, I enjoy your talks with Billy. You are such a lovely couple, but I have say a few things as gently and truthfully as possible as I try to speak truth in love. Billy was trying to explain something to your viewers that YOU wanted him to expand on and then even though you were being friendly, you interrupted him multiple times and distracted him in the middle of his train of thought, AND then stopped him mid sentence and ad libbed a “commercial”…. …can you not see how frustrating and disrespectful that would be to him? That certainly would be frustrating and disrespectful to anyone you do that to. I noticed you doing that with Becket too. You may not even be aware of it but it’s something to ask God to open your eyes to. I’m not sure about anybody else, but I found it hard to stay focussed on what Billy was saying, trying to understand his point of view. We all appreciate when asked to explain something that we’re able to speak uninterrupted and not be distracted… we feel heard, seen and not dismissed. It might be wise to go back and watch this to gain his perspective. This will only bless your communication with Billy and help you to become self aware. A good way to notice yourself doing this (or if both of you do this) is to give each of you a handful of different colour poker chips and every time you or he interrupts, the person who was interrupted gives the interrupter a poker chip of their colour. At the end of the day, you’ll see how much you each have disrespected the other person. Then you give back the other persons poker chips. As for forgiveness from each other and ask God to help you do better tomorrow. The goal is to not have any of the other persons poker chips at the end of the day. He had guys night once a week and I had girlfriends day whenever I wanted. I put butter in my eggs makes them fluffier. Long term marriage means you love the your companion of decades warts and all and you will be like my dad. When mom passed he never dlept in their bed again by himself. He slep on a day bed in his office where mum would rest while he did his book work for his old school full service station.
