May you heal quickly my friend! I’m so sorry and why was my first thought that’s something I would do!🙈 My recent mishaps were slicing my finger and burning the roof of my mouth!🤦🏻‍♀️ It made my heart happy when you mentioned the hymn “My hope is built on nothing less.” My husband is a Lutheran Pastor and we sang that last week! You should look at the awesome lyrics o the whole hymn!And still waiting for you to make the tshirt “Jesus + Nothing = Everything!😊✝️❤️

Hi Chynna, I’m so sorry you hurt your head. 🙏. I have been quoting those words constantly, “on Christ the solid rock I stand all other ground is sinking sand” since my son was diagnosed with cancer 3 weeks ago. HE is the only One who can see us through! ❤️

I feel very unsteady in my life right now and I’m trying to take it all one day at a time. I’m carrying a lot of stress and worry which has affected my physical and mental health. Ouch! I did something similar about a month ago. A big sudden unexpected whack to the head. It definitely wakes you up in an big way!! You instantly re-remember that this world isn’t all wine and roses. It’s a variation of the Beatles song “Back in the USSR” …It’s been changed to “Back in the ER.” I am glad it wasn’t too bad! There are a whole bunch of much worse reasons to end up in the ER.

I felt so at peace listening to this tonight after a busy week at work, Also cracked my coconut pretty good on a stainless steel grab bar I just installed the day before. OUCH!!!!! Just checking in with my pal, Chynna - so much to say in response to your video. First - you make me laugh :) thank you for that. and you encourage me as well. The tea water looks like pee .. lol. Forgetting to call your mom - I do that alot too. I live in another state than my parents and I work full time and I am raising my grandsons. Alot on my plate so I often forget to call the parents so I feel ya, sister. And Jesus is so wonderful, isn't He? Glad we have fellow believers to lean on. You're so awesome and adorable.

Oh, Chynna! Ouch! Bless your heart! Years ago, my youngest swung the door of my Subaru open, right into my mouth. It busted my lip and cut my gum below my incisor and I am still having dental issues from that. Blurgh. It’s crazy how many ridiculous things can happen to us! I just have to laugh. I’m a very clumsy person so I can sympathize with the repeated accidents. I was such an uptight, rigid, hurting person for so many years and that meant I really didn’t have to schedule anything because I just did it all because not doing something meant the world would end or something. Right? Because it works like that. 🤣 Stupid lie of anxiety. But I’ve found that as I get older and more mellow, I actually DO have to schedule things in my day so that I don’t forget. Letting go is a beautiful thing (I know my family are glad I’m more relaxed) but I have to be a little more mindful of getting it done these days. I start every morning with a Holy Whisper and that helps. Very cool how cute Billy is with your mom. ❤️

Oy Chynna! I’m glad you’re ok! As usual I like to comment even though most likely no one is reading. Hey by the way I’m going to a monastery in Westchester for 4 days starting March 14! I can’t wait! I’ve been really getting into Gregorian chants but I only like the ones in English because otherwise I don’t know what the heck they’re saying! During meals you’re not allowed to talk. It reminds me of an episode of “The Odd Couple” when Felix and Oscar try to purposely make each other talk to get the other in trouble. I wonder if you can understand this but I can’t WAIT to not hear my voice for a while! I’m looking forward to this time of peace and quiet and I want to draw as close to the Lord as possible. I’m planning on fasting for at least a day but I need plenty of prayer for that! The name of the place is Holy Cross in West Park NY. Maybe that’s by you guys I don’t know all that o know is it’s like 3 1/2 hours away and I hope my clunker of a car makes it! Re; unconditional love - yup you’re absolutely right and I’m the last one to preach about marriage because I was in a bad marriage that lasted 100 years but my split was even worse because I lost seeing my daughter grow up every day. But if I ever get married again I think the key is to realize that both of us are sinners and I just think every day should consist of confession and forgiveness. I hate the adage “familiarity breeds contempt because maybe that’s the way it is for the world but it shouldn’t be that way for us. Again I’m not preaching, who the heck am I, Dr Phil? But I believe the scripture that says don’t let the sun go down on your anger. If you’re hurt or angry I think it needs to be expressed immediately or at least soon after a period of cooling down and the communication should be with love and respect focusing on your own feelings and not what the other person did or said so as not to be accusatory. For instance “I really felt hurt when you said this or did that” and then hopefully your partner will understand and apologize. Wow your mom looks so great and it’s so cute that she and Billy are so close! She’s a legend and was easily the most beautiful woman in the history of of rock and your dad was so so freaking talented as a song writer and arranger! I don’t know if you or anyone read this but I recommend a great book for all believers especially in relationships called “Emotionally Healthy Spirituality” by Pete Scazzero. There’s a wealth of practical information on how to communicate with the ones you love without what he calls “fighting dirty”. It’s a revolutionary book and a must read that also deals with all the baggage we’ve been shlepping around since childhood. Anyway I’m finished pontificating! I love seeing your new posts and I love you and Billy too. I pray for you guys almost every day (you see I’m honest by saying almost because sometimes I forget!) Ok shalom in Messiah Yeshua, Jesus our Lord! ❤ PS I ask anyone actually reading this (if anyone is!!) to please keep me in prayer because I suffer from depression and I’m actively seeking help. I’m Ok today but there are days where I just open my eyes snd think; “oh no! Not again!” And I’ve spent literally weeks in bed because I just couldn’t face the “interesting” challenges that life has to offer. Thanks very much! MC

To : Michael Cohen --- I read your comment --- I hope your visit to the monastery soothes your spirit.I could use a week or two of beautiful buildings and trees and silent prayer , except for the glorious Gregorian chants. Enjoy the Peace of Christ ! Jesus is the only way that helps my very frequent bouts of almost life-long depression. P.S. I've always thought that Mama Michelle has been and continues to be the loveliest singer of the 60s and the Ms and the Ps helped me through many a night , before Jesus knocked on my door Prayers from South Florida , in between hurricanes ! ( Though the weather lately has been wonderful.)

@@sharonl.chandler8428 thanks! Even Jesus took some time by Himself, I think you just have to! This world is really overwhelming! I’m sorry you struggled with depression too so I gather that you know what I mean. When I was young my dad used to say that this world is like a boxing match. He was so right! Sometimes I wake up and feel like I’ve been thrown in the ring with Mike Tyson and it’s just “boom!! Bang!!! Boom!” Every day it’s a battle to fight against people and institutions whose sole purpose is to rip you off. Listen, I have 2 friends with cancer and my pastor is in remission from leukemia so let’s put things in perspective but even so, I just guess that most people are better equipped than others to handle the stress of daily life. Again, God forbid I had to fight for my life in a literal sense like my friends, and I know this completely pales in comparison but I just can’t handle it. For instance in one week alone I was fighting with my auto insurance company who without my knowledge or consent added an additional driver that doesn’t drive or own a car, doesn’t live with me and doesn’t even live in this country! I can’t tell you how many hours I had to spend trying to get back the money they stole from me because the policy was on automatic payments. Then my bank charges me all of these overdraft fees and this happens every month. I applied for overdraft proper, a line of credit and they turned me down but instead they charge me $35 each time I didn’t have enough money to complete a transaction. When I questioned them on it they explained that of you go to make a purchase in a store or something the transaction just won’t go through and you won’t get penalized but if you have automatic payments they do go through and your hit with that fee every time! Granted, I’m 60 years old and by now of I can’t balance a check book I have some issues but they know exactly what they’re doing. It’s just a blatant ripoff and you have no recourse whatsoever! Years ago I had fees totaling $500 in one month because of this but on average I’ve been getting hit for around $100 a month. Im struggling financially and they say it’s expensive to be poor and that’s true. And again I know it’s not the end of the world but the audacity of these blatant acts of callous disregard for anything decent just drives me crazy! I’m really trying to work on it, I’m trying to keep things in perspective but this is an every day occurrence almost. You have no idea how many times I’ve been scammed or I’ve caught attempts by scammers to rip me off thank God I caught them in time but to just have to live like this is just so taxing. The other day I got two separate emails that claimed to be from Amazon and one from Apple stating that my account has been frozen, click on this link to rectify the problem and they look totally legitimate! So at this point I know better than to click on anything so I called and as I suspected it was an attempt to “phish” me. Had I clicked on either of those links I would have been hacked and who knows what they would have done. It’s just exhausting! I can’t wait to go to the monastery but the thought of having to leave once I’m there makes me want to cry! But it’s ok. I’m working on myself very hard to get better and not let these things get to me so much but it’s not easy. I guess that’s where the serenity prayer comes in and I believe in those words very much. It’s ok, I’ll be ok and I’m on a really good track. I meet with a group of Christian guys on zoom every day. They’re Christian 12 Step meetings and they’re very helpful but sometimes I just feel like I don’t have the strength to carry on. But that’s when I turn to the Lord in the deepest way I can! I pray and imagine laying at his pierced feet and I just pray for peace and to be able to forgive as He did when He was on the cross, tortured to death and uttered the most astonishing word’s possible; “forgive them Father for they know not what they do!” Thanks for listening . You are under GOD's Protection. I am new here and I can't get enough of how you Love the Lord and share the gospel. Today i took out my new christian journal to start journaling your quotes. The front of my journal says: (which I bought many years ago) "FOR I KNOW THE PLANS I HAVE FOR YOU" DECLARES THE Lord. PLANS TO PROSPER YOU, PLANS TO GIVE YOU HOPE AND A Future". Jeremiah 29:11. The word Plan, Lord Hope and Future is written in gold. Confirmation here today for me. You said here in description " Holy notes for you today. I love you please wake up! How about we start a new trend Mama Mondays? Is here I will turn the same age my mother was when she passed. I now have been on this Earth longer without her then with her. Now I'm a mom with a grown daughter out there living her life fiercely independent but I'm not going to lie I would love to hear from her just a little bit more. I hit my forehead the same exact way, a week or so ago! The truck of the car hit me when I was unloading the groceries. It was due to the heavy winds here in CA (ahead of all of the rain and snow!). I feel for you - and luckily, I didn't have a concussion either. Take good care!

Also realized that my original msg. had a "typo". It was the trunk of my car, and not a truck. Thank you, and I've loved your channel for a long time now!! P.S. Wonder if something like this should be made more in people's awareness. These car trunks can be a danger, especially when there's high winds involved.. Ya sister don’t quite agree with the conditional love part. We sin against one another and against the Lord and in right in the midst of his unconditional love. He doesn’t condemn he patiently waits for us to turn back to him, he remains steadfast as his character doesn’t shake, Christ says in the Holy Spirit we can do all that he does and even greater things. His unconditional love for us doesn’t mean he approves or condone what we’re doing against the Father, but he doesn’t condemn, nor reject us and likewise a woman that would have a husband carry on like he single, and then then walk in his flesh, doesn’t mean we’re InCapable of unconditional love . unconditional love doesn’t mean one condone’s the behaviors that breach the sacred relationship, or even the supporting of his error in sin against the relationship, however, unconditional love doesn’t condemn him, or reject him in the midst of his fallible, weak human existence. Questioning, his character does not mean there is not unconditional love. It means you’re acting in the way the Holy Spirit would when we are in error, he lovingly pricks that her heart, but doesn’t forsake us , he points us to reconciliation with the father. You can have unconditional love for a partner in error and still allow consequences to happen due to their breach of the relationship, unconditional love grieves for their soul, doesn’t think about themselves being offended or cheated on, one can lovingly prick at a partners heart with great love without condemnation and rejection, and consequences can still be in place, consequences to save one’s soul is not the same as conditional love. We are all in that boat in one way or another, and are frail in our weakness, we bring harm to one another in many different ways in our relationships. Unconditional, love rises above the weaknesses of another, and remains solid in the spirit of the Lord, and yes that is possible and Christian’s do theirs all over the world. It’s really about who they are in the Lord and if they’re not shaken in who their own character is in the Lord we don’t have to reject another in the midst of their weakness that they need to overcome through the power of the Holy Spirit operating in their lives, but the act of a Christian rejecting one in their weakness and blindness,that is a pride and self idol- ship, which is not how the Holy Spirit leads us to be in offense, so yes, unconditional love does exist and we have the power to walk in it. I know this firsthand, because I’ve had to extend that to my own spouse, when one dies to themself they can truly offer unconditional love and it can be extended here and yet and the more we die to self the more we can walk in the unconditional love more and more across many moral failures of others in our lives. Throughout my own life, I have dishonored my relationship with the Lord, and he remained solid in his character and extended unconditional love, which is what brought me to repentance every time and when we’re there for another when they sin, and expect know separation how pivotal it can be for them to experience unconditional love from us that they don’t deserve, it leads them to repentance, that’s the work of the Holy Spirit through Christs body. Christ sees us as works in progress and is patient, we too can walk in that with others, it is possible, just depends on how one yields to the Holy Spirit. Only works in progress.
