You know, when my husband, Billy, gave up alcohol, he said he never even craved it again. Now, I was a Christian, and he was not. I had prayed for years that he would quit. One morning, he got up and poured out all the alcohol (interestingly July 4th, 1980). Independence Day had a whole new meaning for our family. So, years down the road, Billy became a Christian and had been praying one day and came and asked me if I ever considered that he was 'healed' of his alcoholism. I just said that I believed that it was an answer to prayer. Then he said that God had revealed to him that He had healed him. That was just before he passed away. I think that God wanted Billy to know that his life had been in His hands all those years.

Jesus is alive. I am a 52 years ex-transwoman from Malaysia who is living his best life. Jesus has healed and delivered me. Only Jesus can do that for anyone who chooses to believe. Alleluia!

My hubby's grandad will knuth was in boenfoffers group. He lost job as pastor and ended up in prison of war camp in Russia til 1950. Hero 🙏 his wife had to keep the 3 kids safe. Teaching violin. No welfare etc

Chynna, I loved watching/hearing Eric talk with you. Unfortunately, most people are so quick to condemn someone instead of lovingly trying to talk with them about sin. I really believe that is why so many have left their "home" church, myself included; I still study the Word of God and have yet to find a new home Church. I live in the south and some of the worst hypocritical people are the ones who are in Church every time the doors are open. They say they are Godly, but they are the first to criticize and gossip about a person for anything they do. We need more Erics and Chynnas in the World. ♥️

Here in Alberta, Canada during Covid we had several pastors thrown in jail because they refused to close their churches during the outbreak. Yes and Amen. As a parent, relative, and coworker of those who have chosen to declare their identity as trans/bisexual/homosexual, I am standing in the gap of prayer and truth. Praying. Speaking up when God prompts (most often these days in handwritten letters that give time for reflection as i communicate), and walking out this messy grace that lives every summer and holds right to Jesus Who is The Truth, Light, Way. Thank you, Eric, for responding to God's prompting with courage and obedience. Thank you Chynna, for the same. It encourages me as I am trying to do this faith walk and live out loud with love, grace, truth.

What a great interview! I left the lifestyle long ago but I struggle with thoughts from time to time..but I am NOT my thoughts like Eric spoke of here. God sees my heart and my willingness to surrender to his will…To God, I’m known by my fruits I’m known by my actions as a Christian and my gratitude for his salvation. I am NOT going to lose my soul for a fallen world. Plus the world gives no peace where Gods word does. I spoke w/a pastor once who said if someone was gay and came to the Lord, they should show the fruits of marriage and kids. That pastor was way off! Everyone has temptations and it’s about how we give that to the Lord. I am not looking for any other relationship in this life than that of Christ, family and good friends. I feel at peace with being a Christian and being in the circle of other believers. My mind is cleansed, my mind is renewed-but Satan loves to trip folks up. I say allow the Holy Spirit to lead-while doing that, we cannot allow ourselves be in the situation we once knew anymore. I’m with Paul who says if your single-you have more time for the Lord and his plans. And that has been the case for me. And I LOVE the life I have been gifted today. I’m living the BEST I’ve ever lived. Right now the life I have, I wouldn’t trade it for gold. What I have right now is worth more than anything this world can offer. Quick Review: Lord knows me by my thoughts and my action! And thoughts are not an identity-An identity is what we believe and what we do. Thank you, Lord, for your rescue! Love this conversation

Eric is so correct about , “How did it happen with Hitler and the Jews”. I never thought I would ever live in a world where religion would be canceled. I am 77 and really thought it was seared in our brains to never allow the Devil to destroy what we hold scared. I gave my late husband the Bonhoeffer books and they are so worth reading. Prayers and Blessings to both of you. ❤️🙏

May God inspire each of us to do whatever part He has made us to do. And may we always do so in His great love. We know that even when truth is spoken in love that it will still be rejected by some. Speak it anyway, in the power of the Holy Spirit! May we all be teachable and fearless and humble before Christ. He always knows exactly what He is doing - we just need to stay in tune with Him. We will be with Him in glory one day!!!

Thankful for this discussion! Things happening currently are rarely, if ever, being discussed in my church. It feels so isolating. If you bring up concerns, then you feel like a conspiracy theorist. Wrong is right and right is wrong. We are living in a upsidedown world! The gospel is offensive. Speaking truth is offensive. Most everyone is scared to share those things for fear of rejection or cancellation. The line is being drawn in the sand and we HAVE to choose. Do we care more about what man thinks or what God commands??? We will be held accountable. Withholding truth is not showing love or tolerance. It's allowing people to perish so we will be liked. May the Lord give us boldness and courage because we lack both!

My husband had smoked since he was 13 years old, the difference in our ages, until he had quadruple bypass at 49 years of age. Thank God he never had the desire to smoke another cigarette when he came home. God gave me another 14 years with my husband 💜

Amen I’ve had a shift in my spirt since last year and been hitting hot buttons, and people around me haven’t welcomed it. But you are putting it just as I see it, the Bible is giving to us to be lived out. All these mega churches not preaching real truth just the fluffy version of Jesus. Jesus died and suffered a horrendous death and what a dis honor I’ve see other believers profess to love him, be saved and yet still want to hold onto their earthly fleshly desire and start making man made laws. Eric I’m grateful thankful for your boldness. People souls are at stake it’s blood on the churches hands by watering down the gospel. I get sooooo offended how other believers will try and rationalize sin. How disrespectful it really cut me to my core spirt that I can’t hold back in his defense. You are soooo saying all I’ve been saying. Thank you Jesus. But Chynna jesus was very bold in his tone at times why does people not get he was all about being obedient to the father. It’s just an excuse. I’m telling you if we don’t start hitting more hot buttons when we stand before the father can we truly looking him face to face with all sincerity saying Lord I love you so much I gave it my all. To which I receive my crown. I’m so tired of people thinking jesus didn’t get mad or hurt.

I agree with this message. I am very vocal about the times that we live in, doesn't matter if they are secular or christian, people just don't want to speak about things that are wrong and things that are happeing all around us; all of the time! The time is coming (he is coming back) and If we don't speak up about them, (hot button topics) then we have not done our job as christians. Even if you reach one person with the truth then you've done something, that person can then reach ten or a hundred or a thousand. Speak up step up.

I’m a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and just subscribed very recently to California Preachin. I’ve loved it, and this interview with Eric Metaxas was so important. We are to love God, Our Father, first. That’s the first commandment. I love that Eric brought that out, and how Chynna talked about how the words of Christ were also not accepted during His lifetime, and up until today. Loved this vid and how we, the American Christians ( and really, all Christians throughout the world) can speak up and rely on Christ and His strong arm to give us strength to stand for truth. We can do it through and because of Christ, who is with us. Also, we can do it by joining together, all of us, and put aside all difference in order to be united in our love for God and Christ who we love and choose to obey. Peace of Christ, brothers & sisters.

Most times than not God will not take a “thing” away from us because He’s knows we will return to it. Many times it’s that thing that keeps us close to Him. Remember we are set apart for a reason just as the disciples were, as someone else said here narrow is the path let’s not forget that. The signs are all around us how God is soooo trying to show the sinner and yet we are the problem. My gmom I was raised up in her time we would go door to door evangelizing how much Jesus loves them. I remember many of door slammed in her face, was it easy for Jesus? No! Again we need to be more bold on these hot topic. The Bible tells us about holding each other in accountability to one another. We speak in love not apologizing for what the gospel tells us clearly. He’s sooooo worth all of it.

"A friend of the world is an enmity with YHWH." Faith = Belief in what The Word, (Messiah) has already said. You either believe it or you do not. Matthew 7:14: "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."
