CIA director meets with Netanyahu as U.S. halts bomb shipment to Israel

CIA Director Bill Burns met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Israel Wednesday, but it's unclear how the meeting went or where cease-fire talks stand. The meeting comes after the U.S. paused a shipment of bombs to Israel due to concerns they could be used in Rafah, a senior Biden administration official told CBS News. CBS News' Ramy Inocencio and David Martin have more.

@kd9457 I am American. But I have doubts that you are. Let's correct what you said. Who says that it is Genoicide? No legal authority has said that there is Genocide. But occupying and damaging a private school building is a crime. Therefore, the law enforcement have all the right to arrest them when the landlord says get out.

Just today I was watching a video of a child whose house was bombed. He could have been around 8-10 years old. His organs came out of his mouth. His limbs are severed. That's not self-defense.

Stop it. It is widely understood that Hamas initiated this conflict, which has led to Palestinian casualties. Israel asserts its right to self-defense. Similarly, the United States has been involved in military actions worldwide that have resulted in casualties. This isn't a new phenomenon.

@@AlexiaLevi less widely understood by Americans is WHY Hamas attacked. But that is changing. AI technology allowed the vicious targeting of so many civilians. This is new and only a state that has dehumanized an ethnic group for so long (75 yr) would have committed a genocide like this.

He has been there in Cairo since the beginning of negotiations . So it’s a lie that Netenyahu was surprised . They agreed that Egypt’s Alsissi allowed them to enter peacefully into Rafah border, very great cinematic entry . The Devils AlSissi , is Biden’s and Netenyahu’s favourite dictator . To claim not knowing what is in agreement is hypocritical . Netenyahu dying for a perceived victory this gives him a pseudo victory .
