Ciacona by Sylvius Leopold Weiss. This piece is the final movement of the duo sonata number four from the London Manuscript. The original flute part has not survived, so we are playing a reconstruction of the part by Michael Cardin.
Played by the Lark Duo: Zina Kaynarska on flute, and Shannon Millard on Dresden Guitar. The Dresden guitar is a thirteen-string guitar, conceived and built by luthier Michael Thames to play the baroque lute repertoire. Recorded by Allan Neuendorf at New Village Studios, Burwood Music Centre.

Hi Manuel, sorry to be so long replying. Go to www.tree-edition.com and find Michel Cardin's Edition of the five Duo Sonatas on the PDF catalogue there. I think you just email your order through tp Albert Reyerman.

vibrato on a flute???? :D while playing baroque music? lol. Vibrato belongs in romantic era music. definitely not in baroque. Vibrato is also not applied in order to masque poor breath control and sloppy tonal quality. but as an ornament. besides that the vibrato is too fast...... its not an aztec indian native flute

I agree. In the Renaissance and Baroque, the flute was rarely vibrated. In the Baroque, vibrato was even considered as an embellishment, therefore to be used sparingly.
