Thursday nights are a weekly board game night I host so I missed most of your stream last night, but we had the Awards up on the TV and watched the song reveal live and I similarly lost my shit 🤣, and then I went and watched the additional trailer later in the evening. IT'S ALL SO GOOD, AND SO MANY QUESTIONS~ Most stuff has been commented on already here or in Discord, but a couple small things I'm thinking about: 1. Barret in Remake was revealed to have scars on the right side of his face, which felt fairly innocuous at the time, just a little detail they decided to add to the new high-res character model. But now seeing Dyne with similar scars over the LEFT side of his face (his gun-arm side) makes me think that the event which causes them both to lose their arms and leads to the gun grafts will be a bit more dramatic than OG's 'bullets shooting their held hands.' Hardly game changing, but an interesting detail! 2. Re: Avalache's presumed deaths in the Zack Timeline- we were shown in opening shots to an earlier trailer a bunch of the main cast being wheeled away on gurneys by Shinra troops, so it seems legit (though how/why still WTF?). But I'm curious why, in that timeline, Aerith was not among them, since she's now at her home with Marlene (where Zack sees her in this trailer) but still somehow injured/unconscious/comatose/whatever? Maybe Elmyra intervenes somewhere in that timeline to escape her away?? 3. "Lets get ready to rumble!" from Cait Sith as Cloud and Dio shake hands- Maybe a new 1v1 fight with Dio to convince him to hand over the Keystone to the Temple, instead of doing the Battle Arena as in OG?? 83 DAYS, YALL. Thanks for editing out that scream, it seems like I would bleed from my eardrums if you let that stay in xD Bahamut Arisen is Bahamut Neo, they have changed him a little but he does have Giga Flare so its Neo. In the next game its going to be Bahamut Zero(or whatever they will change it to) with its Tera flare. In Zacks timeline, Barret, Tifa, Wedge and Jessie and Red XIII die, and the only one to survive is Biggs, we saw that in the trailer they showed us earlier when Tifa and them were carted off by Shinra. EXCUSE ME? Levi scarf? girl, Cid had that scarf in the OG game, WAAAAAAY before Levi was even a thought in their head xD So that is the CID scarf.

Aerith is Sephiroth, deceiving party. Those are Sephiroth feather and the dialogue when she said "lend me your strength". Sephiroth did said this at the end of remake.

There’s no canon ship in FF7. It’s all put to the player. Let’s not forget Cloud could never move on finding Aerith. It’s very complicated and people should stop forcing Aerith to Zack like she owes him anything. Men and women move on from first loves.

I am convinced that Cloud and Aerith (and potentially the rest of Team Avalanche) went comatose when their main-timeline counterparts crossed over. Cloud's base state of being is unconscious sack of potatoes, so Zack wouldn't really notice, but Aerith also being passed out, and the shots in the earlier trailers of Tifa and Barrett being on stretchers, makes me think that they've been affected by the timeline jump.

I keep thinking once the whispers were defeated by cloud an the others they naturally dissapeared from every time line in history, i feel since Zak entered Midgar with Crisis Core Cloud, there was some sort of time manipulation due to the whispers being defeated in midgar, so to me that explains Zak and Crisis Core Cloud in Aeriths house but instead Marlene is there because of the current events in FF7 Remake, so Zack an CC Cloud jumped 5 years in the furure upon entering Midgar, but if they left Midgar they would go back to their original Timeline is what i feel, so that Cloud thats in Aeriths house is not the Cloud Marlene knows he is still suffering from MAKO Poisioning there, it makes sense in my head but i feel midgar is the sourse of this timeline buisness, all because of the whispers being destroyed there they could have created some sort of timehole thing

That Summon should be Neo Bahamut. There are 3 Bahamut summons in FF7. The 3rd is Bahamut Zero, which will probably be in the 3rd part. I've always been a Tifa fan as well, but this remake series is making it so hard on my brain. DAMN YOU Square Enix!

My wild ass theory is that the timelines will converge at the start of the third game. The whole Sephiroth "7 seconds" was about the event that happens at the end of Disc 1 in the OG and will be at the end of Rebirth. WARNING SPOILERY STUFF BELOW, STOP READING NOW IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED THE OG. Cloud will have 7 seconds to save her. Probably a QTE. If he saves her in this timeline, she never wakes in the Zack timeline and we get C+A, poor Tifa get friendzoned. If he fails to save her, the Zack timeline lives and we get Z+A and C+T at the end of Part 3. This gives those who believe the OG story should stay cannon, their option to let S(actually J in the guise of S) get stabby but we still get a live A in the end, just not "our" A. I think/hope there is a small possibility that Wedge and maybe even Jessie survived in "our" timeline but we won't see them until part 3. I think the Jessie we see in this footage is possibly VR that Cloud and Co. sees before acting in the Loveless play or Princess play(if that is different), so they have a general idea about what to do.

Ok here me out here , what I think about Zack/Marlene and Cloud moment , is right after the ancient temple where Cloud lost it and smack Aerith out and she in some sort of coma recovery of something in Gongaga ? Then this is where she wakes up somehow and goes by herself to Forgotten Capital. This is what I think . Cid is my favorite FF7 character , I was mostly disappointed somehow at first but more I rewatch the is looking I kinda llike it , just missing that cigarette and be a little more rude thats how he really is :)
