At this point I get the feeling they are going to cheese it by A suffering the same fate as before BUT she subsequently wakes up in the other timeline. I hope this doesn’t happen as I will be quite conflicted but they could always throw in a better twist later on. To me, that is not only her fate, but her purpose. You can deny / fight fate all you want but her reason for existence is self sacrifice..

Not necessarily, this isn't the original, it's an unknown journey, Aerith's ending could be a lot different than you think.

@@sharynmorgan944 the devs have said multiple times that the story may not follow the same path as the original but the relative outcome will be the same. With the most recent kotatsu interviews they quite literally confirm what will happen with A and that the story will now make FF AC cannon. I don’t want to spoil anything if you haven’t seen AC but two people have to play out their fates in order for that to happen.

out of everything in this section if story... Dyne and Cave of Gi are what im most looking forward to... seeing Red13 meet and learn about his father and Barret and Dyne going through it together... it's going to be rough. but i'm excited.

This next FF7 trailer has been VERY AWESOME!!! We finally saw Cid and her looks tight and so does Dyne! However about what Marlene just said don't jump to conclusions just yet cause that still might not happen somehow hopefully. Also that singing was very pretty. Anyway I SO can't wait for Feb 29th!😁✊🏿

I predict that Doomguy will rip more than feathers, and that all the protagonists will survive, because he will be so annoyed by the multiverse that it reforms itself. And then so will Shinra. THE STREETS. WILL. FLOW. WITH THE BLOOD. OF THE NONBELIEVERS.

Let me preface that I love Aerith, she is a fantastic character, and I feel SE is building her up so her death hurts just as much even more as it did back then, but in a sense it makes me sad for Tifa as it makes her look second best. With all the romance between Cloud and Aerith being built so much, it might feel like Cloud "settles" for Tifa just because she's there. I hope they can manage to pull it off in the third one so it doesn't feel that way.

Sadly the whole Aerith dies thing is just too well known now, even for people who never played the original like myself. Would be amazing if they subvert the whole thing and kill Tifa off this time to make everyone flip out.
