Good. Because it only takes smoking one time and the person liking it for them to form an addiction, which could lead to cancer and a WHOLE list of other complications no one ever really thinks of. Like Heart Disease and COPD. You know what would be better than handling them like one puff can give you cancer? Just leaving this video in the land of idea. Because this could inspire any number of his young fans to try to rank them too. Which is a problem, when it only takes one cigarette for someone to decide they like smoking. I quit in December. I didn't quit in time. My greatest fear in life was to suffocate or drown. Now, I have sentenced myself to a slow death of suffocation from smoking for too long.

My dad’s go-to brand was Canadian Goose. Last year he got hospitalized for a few months (unrelated to smoking), and because he wasn’t able to smoke, he ended up losing his appetite for them. He hasn’t had a cigarette since. I’m so incredibly happy and proud of him :)

I quit smoking about 6 years ago after smoking for 30+ years. My smoking was the primary cause of me having a stroke and all of the doctors I talked to all told me if I went back to smoking it would either cause a massive stroke that would leave me permanently disabled or just outright kill me. One stroke was enough for me thank you very much.

Psychedelics saved me from years of uncontrollable depression, anxiety, smoking, and illicit pills addiction. Imagine carving heavy chains for over a decade and then all of a sudden that burden is gone. Believe it or not, in a couple of years they'll be all over for treatment of mental health related issues.

I wish they were readily available in my place. Microdosing was my next plan of care for my husband. He's 59 & has many mental health issues plus probably CTE & a TBI that left him in a coma 8 days. It's too late now I had to get a TPO as he's 6'6 300+ pound homicidal maniac. He's constantly talking about killing someone. He's violent. Started smoking at 15. At 23, i made it up to 6 packs a week!! It's awful how unhealthy and expensive my addiction was. I'm down to not even one smoke a day, thanks to vaping. I still look like a dumbass for smoking in general, but it's just awful trying to quit in general. Wish i never, ever, ever started. Thsi video made me laugh so damn hard so thanks for that

I lost my dad to cigarettes when I was 17, so I'm really happy to see these guys trashing cigarettes. My dad was incredibly lucky, surviving 20-30 heart attacks before the last one got him (We lost count, and he stopped going to the hospital for them, that's how many he had) Fuck cigarettes, and to every smoker reading this, please try to do whatever you can to stop, it doesn't just affect your life, I was surrounded by cigarette smell my entire childhood, it affects everyone around you, especially the people you love.

Preach it man we need to move more people to patches and vaping and get them off the cancer sticks. I lost my grandfather to cancer he was only in his 50s and I believe it was because of smoking. If more people realized how little ingredients there are in vaping they would all switch, but truth is lying to them to keep them hooked on the cancer sticks. I mean its simple, would you rather smoke cyanide, tar, pesticides, carbon dioxide, beryllium, arsenic and formaldehyde OR water vapor with nicotine.

@@nitroxylictv it's not actually vapor, apparently it's an aerosol. Anyway, vape juice contains 3 main ingredients: PG, VG, and Nicotine. I don't really know what PG is, but it's used in many other products (such as inhalers). And VG is just derived from vegetable oil. Nicotine is still pretty bad for you, but it's still much better getting from vaping since (unlike cigarettes) vapes do not produce tar.

@@TheLongDon I can agree with that, however although it wouldn’t be a major reason, it makes the product more visually appealing. In Australia all branding is in the same font on a white box which includes images of the potential dangers of smoking eg: lung cancer, terminally ill people that have smoked in the past to hopefully steer people away from buying their first packet of cigarettes. It won’t necessarily steer people away that are addicted, but it may help someone who was on the fence with starting smoking change their mind

@@Miklovin I don't believe it. The biggest pressures you'll get from smoking are going to be peer pressure, where the packaging doesn't really matter at all. This would help keep children away from being interested in it but like ... Your parents should already be doing that. The US cut smoking down in teens from 23% to 5% just through education alone. That's an 88% reduction in teen smoking. Can't do better than that without stepping on toes, and the US is unique in that it is built around NOT stepping on toes

But you can’t argue that taking away the visually appealing side of packaging doesn’t play a role in taking away from the appeal of picking up a packet of cigarettes. The main points as to why all cigarettes are sold in olive green packs, is because research has shown that it is least appealing to smokers. As spoken by one of our main senators at the time of passing in 2011, "If this legislation stops one young Australian from picking up a shiny, coloured packet and prevents them becoming addicted to cigarettes then in my view it will have been worthwhile." The boxes continue to carry stark health warning messages and pictures, which cover 75% of the front of the pack and 90% of the back. If you’re saying that adding stark health warnings and images doesn’t in some way enforce some users, or new users to turn away from the chance of purchasing cigarettes then I’m not sure how you’ve come to that conclusion. Education is vital in Australia and it is commonly frowned upon to smoke cigarettes. However Australia has taken the extra step to make cigarettes and their packaging less appealing, something that wouldn’t hurt America in following. You have to see that it reduces smoking in younger people and the fact that tobacco companies have been using packs very effectively as one of the last forms of advertising. Due to the new legislation only about 15% of adults in Australia smoke compared with 23% a decade ago

Lucky cigarette comes from WWII. Soldiers who smoked when opening a pack would take the first cigarette out and turn it upside down. After smoking the entire pack aside from the lucky one they would open a new pack, turning the first cig in the new pack upside down, smoking a cigarette, and taking the lucky one from the first pack and putting it into the new pack. Now they have two lucky cigarettes. This process was repeated until they had an entire pack of lucky cigarettes (upside down ones) if you had an entire pack of lucky cigs then you were considered a lucky man for surviving for so long. A study was actually done years ago on soldiers who did this and they found out that they had a statistically higher survival rate by doing this. It kept them more alert and aware by doing a repeated action and striving towards having a full pack of lucky cigarettes. Edit: wish they still put cigs in MRE's 😂 I wouldn't have had to buy 3 cartons before goin out to the field lol.

That was interesting to learn. Considering they were getting them on a weekly ration, getting a full pack wasn't achievable in 2-3 weeks, but that would take a lot more, so they were indeed lucky to survive that long. People from my country who were alive during WWII had stories about the German soldiers trading cigarettes and chocolate for food with the villagers. They served as currency too. And before someone will do a shitty joke ending in a skull emoji, the chocolate containing meth is a stupid myth started by a braindead journalist. It contained caffeine instead.

It gets worse at old age too. My Dad quit smoking right before he got COPD in his late 60's. He is in his late 70's now, which I should be thankful for to have him this long as he was an avid smoker, but everyday is hell for him with COPD. I hope that one day you can find the strength in you to kick them.

When I was in the Army, my friends introduced me to dip. I remember at first it was disgusting as all hell, but eventually got used to it. Soon started smoking as I had wanted to smoke a cigar, then started smoking cigarettes after that. When I got out it was extremely hard to quit. After 6 years of smoking and dipping, I've quit stone cold. Just gotta think mind over matter. When I'm super stressed out and want the urge to smoke again, I tell myself it's not worth it. Life is short, don't make it shorter by getting cancer from that trash.

A few mornings a week I throw up mucus that’s caked in my chest/lungs. Don’t do it shit sucks. Also vapes and carts have drastically reduced my lung function a lot more than cigarettes. I have smoked for too long and also worked in a distribution warehouse (Running the machines that puts the tax stamp on every frickin' single pack). We had over 540 different cigs! (its just all tobacco!) I always preferred marbs over camels and I got curious. I did go into a gas station and got marb blacks, marb special select, marb red label, southern cut, 27s and LOVED the Red Label. Worst decision of my life! Finding the perfect cig does not lend itself to quitting. DON'T EVER start smoking. I guaranty you WILL REGRET IT at some point. Good luck out their friends.

Much preferred malbro blacks 100s. They were surprisingly cheap back several years ago until they start raising prices. Used to cost 5.50 which was a steal compared to reds.

Same, and then lighting I was like, "you gotta pull the fire through man!" but I'm glad they didn't inhale. Sometimes that first puff is the most dangerous. Got me started when I was 12. Shit sucks. But on the road to being nicotine free again soon!
