Brilliant actor. I heard him in an interview say for this part he wanted to be feminine but not effeminate, and I think he hit that perfectly. Honestly though, he could probably read a telephone book and make it fascinating. There is something about his voice that is hypnotic

i watched breakfast on pluto for cillian but truly fell in love with kitten's character while watching it. her struggles of trying to find a belonging and finally finding it is so beautiful

I couldn't find Cillian but only Kitten. She's lovely. Kind. Innocent. I couldn't imagine such a character as a fan of Peaky blinders. Never. He's a great great actor~!

Fearless actor. What I love is that he isn’t shy to play a dweeby loser dork to a gangster to a this character to a love lorn guy to a soldier to anything his heart wants. I love that freedom

Britain took a while to recognise Cillian. Europe awarded him for Breakfast on Pluto & The Wind That Shakes The Barley. He was outstanding in both.

One man played two absolutely opposite characters like Patricia kitten and Thomas Shelby... One is a trans woman and another is an alpha male gangster who can make any woman swoon. I didn't see Cillian Murphy when I watched either of them. He just transformed into those characters. What an actor!!! Only DDL can beat him, no one else...

This is a strangely liberating film for your average 'Hetero' male,but I have to say its one of my favourite stories and you can't help but care for Kitten's plight and enjoy his/her eventual triumph!I would so want to have been there when the 'RA Gunman found out where his A.K's were rusting in peace after Kit's intervention!

I really loved this film. It has moved me in so many ways. I have a lot of gay friends, like literally.. you place me anywhere, and i'd have 1 gay bestfriend without even trying. I'm just magnetically drawn to them. They have all sorts of stories-- of struggles, victories, crazy, funny, sad moments in their lives. Just like Kitten (maybe not to the IRA level) but yeah their stories for me make them even more beautiful. And when Cillian said "they just want to feel pretty and loved", that is true. But that comes from a very deep place inside them. Cillian played Kitten so naturally, the movie felt like it was a real-life story of a legend who was gay. ❤️

Oh stop it! This was made before the pronoun madness. Also, it plays in the 70s, prior to trans people actually believing they were the opposite gender. He, as Kitten, clearly knew he was a male who simply would have preferred to be a female. In other words, he wasn’t lying to himself.
