Yes I was just thinking, can you imagine telling a seemingly introverted actor "ok you're gonna sit in this hotel room, and for the next 12 hours you're gonna do tiny 10 minute interviews with about 100 reporters. And then we'll do it tomorrow. And for the next three months." LOL I would go crazy.

I was watching Redeye again maybe two months ago and they way Murphy goes from Charming to Dangerous was downright scary. I wish every actor could get their own Shawshank Redemption or Princess Bride project to make them immortal. Long story short, he deserves this.

Just saw the movie this evening, the acting is brilliant from everyone, (especially RDJ and Cillian) but the story tends to go astray. They spend A LOT of time with events after the war, dealing with whether or not he was a commie sympathizer, rather than the daily hands on construction and science of the bomb. To me, those were the best scenes in the movie. There were several scenes they should have left on the cutting room floor, especially one gratuitous sex scene that made no sense whatsoever. Nolan chose to go more in the direction of the socially inadequate, trusting genius, sort of like Beautiful Mind with Russell Crow. Personally it would have been a better movie if they would have stayed strictly to the war, and made it more like a docudrama. It literally took close to 30 min before they even brought up the war...LOL
