Viking in the snowy woods, GREAT! Your gear is all coming together and looks very good. I like your newer pipes, too. Your new linen tarp...WONDERFUL! It looks "old school" and your sailor skills are evident. The lanterns are great, too. I like BOTH of them. Thanks for taking us along on a quiet, forest lunch. The food looked and sounds delicious. Hi Tom, I took one look at that tarp and knew that it was made in the manner of sail cloth because the stitching was as my Grandfather used for his small boat ,be well my brother .

I'm envious of your sewing skills Tom! I bought a Chinese leather patching/cobbler's machine that you have to crank by hand. It's very simple, but does a very good job on leather and heavy fabrics. I just need to learn to sew a straight stitch. Watching what you did by hand just amazes me!

Hi Tom: Another great video, good food, coffee and peace and quiet. We have, unfortunately, 2 feet or 64 Cm., of snow with freezing rain on top. Weather is too miserable and icy to enjoy a day in the woods here. However, I enjoyed watching your day in the woods. Your new tarp is cool. Allot of work but very nice result. Wow, brother. This was awesome I love the snow you have we have over 6 feet of snow now. I was snowshoeing this week in the deep Backcountry to my camp.. this video is epic brother, love the tarp shelter you did. Elk meat is the best that what we have 3 times a week I harvested an elk with my bow this last fall.
