Just built and stacked this for my first ever firewood build( I'm a city boy). This was so easy and works great! Holds a lot more wood than it looks. I made one mistake though. I was halfway full loading the wood when I realized I forgot to put a brick in the middle. The wood base was bending from the weight but I was able to move some dirt/brick around to fit the brick under it. So far so good! Thanks again!!

This. Is. PERFECT. I just moved to a house with a wood stove and a heat pump. The heat pump is NOT cheap for heating, so I need to get the wood heating program going. First thing I need is one or more racks for storing the wood. Some of the plans I see here on YT are done by a guy with a woodworking shop. I wanted something simple. This is it. Thanks.

This is brilliant. And SO much better than the overpriced metal racks on that well-known website. Those things have thin metal legs that sink into the ground under the weight of the wood, requiring a good bit of ground preparation. And the "covers" they come with disintegrate in less than a year. (yes, i was that guy.)
