My guess? During the dance routine, she went in back to change. The Cinderella with her back facing the audience after the carriage arrives is most likely a double. She went back while the lead came back in the dress.

There could also be what's considered magnetic dresses if you saw the legally blonde musical on Broadway. It makes one dress easy to remove and suddenly a second dress is on them almost like magic
