In this C4D subsurface-scattering quicktip we'll learn how to approach a green poreclain/ish kind of material. We'll try to achieve that specific porcelain scattering, the color variation and the crackles that are all common in porcelain materials.
And, we're going keep to it fully procedural!
This video is based on a lot of the things we covered in the SSS deep dive video so go check it out if you haven't!

very good, these shorter ones really hit the spot.. dense with info. Love it. (Longer ones are great too btw, just feels like I have to watch them at least 3 times, which I do)

Nice tut as always. When I use specular mode in transmission, the result is more like green metal, bright parts looks very metallic; diffuse mode looks better, lighter, but more like porcelain.

That's good, things really depend on your lighting and model and scene so it's important to figure out what works best for your scene

This tutorial is a LIFESAVER for the project I'm working on. Is there any way you can do a quick tip for a traditional white and blue porcelain generative material? Perhaps with generated blue designs (Thinking the classic Chinese blue on white porcelain). Appreciate you!
