다경이의 연주 너무 잘 들었습니다. 캘리포니아는 비가내린 뒤 먼지 없는 파란 하늘과 깨끗한 뭉게 구름이 있는데 어찌나 음악이 어울리는 지요. 다경이 나이 세대가 캐릭터로 나오는 "신세기 에반게리온"이 떠올라지네요. 소년이 외계인 침략자로 부터 시민을 구하는 일본 애니메이션은 아직도 "Fly Me to the Moon"와 함께 기억속에 남아있습니다. 메인 캐릭터인 소년 '이카리 신지'는 아버지의 명령으로 힘들게 가공의 병기 '에반게리온'에 올라타 지구를 지키게 됩니다. 감독 안노 히데야키는 우울증에 있다가 선배 감독을 통해 성경을 전해 받고 창세기에 영감을 받습니다. 그래서 안노 히데야키는 아담과 이브에 영감을 받아서 죄로 망가진 세상에 "에반게리온 = 기쁜 소식"을 전달한다는 내용을 최고의 애니메이션으로 만들게 됩니다. 선과 악의 대결에서 악(타락한 천사)를 무찌르는 장면과 메인 송으로 "Fly Me to the Moon"은 너무나 찰떡 궁합입니다. 우리 다경이의 연주와 소리는 너무나 "에반게리온"의 애니메이션과 잘 어울리네요. 희망을 주는 다경의 연주와 소리에 다시 한 번 박수를 보냅니다. !! ^^* (전체적인 주제는 외계인과 싸우는 애니메이션 같지만 사실은 가정의 회복, 인류애의 회복입니다.^^ )

이 곡이 에반게리온에서 나왔군요? 제목에 추가해야겠네요. 일본 에니메이션을 많이 본적은 없지만 참 대단하다는 생각은 듭니다. 스토리부터가 차원이 다르네요.

일본은 다른건 몰라도 문화 예술쪽에서는 많은 교류가 있었으면 좋겠어요. 요즘 일본 밴드 음악 LP로 듣는데 너무 좋아요.

The male singer was so melodious, and then too the female. But your trumpet playing brought everything together and wrapped the whole performance up in a warm and loving glow. @@oceancorea Didn't mean to praise excessively - it's really how I feel about this performance of hers. As an amateur Jazz pianist I know how difficult it is to get the improvisation right - yet Dakyung does so here without even the slightest effort!

Very enjoyable. I must admit, I thought the Trump was a bit controlled/restrained. I guess that was to match the singers, which is completely accepted. I know Dakyung could have "gone to town" with a few more runs and improvisations of the melody and rhythmic patterns, but that might not have worked well with the singers. Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable performance and I wish I could have been there.

Collaborating with a singer requires experience. I once advised Dakyung to play like Chris Botti. I hope Dakyung supports the song and gives a performance that reveals her presence.

It definitely does. Actually, it is as important, maybe more so, to blend and be able to respond to others in an ensemble than it is to shine as a soloist.
