The Adam Project is a fun little family adventure film with Ryan Reynolds. It's not quite Free Guy, but it's harmless fun. Oh, and it has some sins.
Next week: animated sins & bunny sins.
Remember, no movie is without sin. Which movie's sins should we count next?

Sins aside, this movie was surprisingly enjoyable. For Walker Scobell’s first film, he did incredible and really stood out. Loved the chemistry between the older and young Ryan, and the comedic jokes here were amazing. We need more father-son relationship films to be like this all the time, IMO.

tbf you can choose what you like but you don't get to tell other people what to like, that's their business. if they want a dad-buddy movie where Ryan Reynolds is effectively both the 'father' and the 'son' and both characters wisecrack like he does in everything else, that's fine. i found this movie instantly forgettable and from what i do remember of it, i didn't find any of the characters likeable, and it didn't deliver on the charm of a Flight of the Navigator style 80s sci-fi movie made in the present day, but that's just my opinion, it doesn't make everybody else an idiot.

I'm honestly glad that between this and stuff like The Tomorrow War, we're getting more sci-fi action movies that take a simple concept and have fun with it, instead of trying to be the next "groundbreaking masterpiece". We've had a bit of a drought of that sort of content in recent years, with so many movies trying to be either too dramatic for their own good, or being sequels/remakes of existing movies.

The fact that movies can't think of another disability other than asthma kinda pisses me off, as a life long asthma sufferer I find it insulting that they just use the meds when in a stressful situation rather than during an attack. Can you automatically add 1000 sins every time a kid has an inhaler in any movie please

Adding in Eric Bana's Time Traveler's Wife movie appearance I think we can just make it an Incredible Hulk actor is in a time travel movie cliche.

"lock step" as you put it, is actually pressumed to be phycology. Researchers think humans evolved to have this trait so we could easily march together. So as hunters and gathers people in the tribes wouldn't get lost, or left behind.

3:13 Try living in a town that had an operating steel mill and coke plant for decades. Everyone here has asthma. I didn't even know movies were giving it to kids at what some consider an unrealistic rate until channels like this.

A good watch but not one id revisit, Ryan is amazing and it is casted well but the problem is like many other movies these days, you never really feel like theres any danger, like watching the Fast Furious movies you know the bad guys are never able to shoot straight and you know its 90% CGI so you never feel like the characters are ever in any danger, as a comedy tho, this is a good movie.

The pandemic has really made everything unbearable and things are really getting out of control. The F.E.D can't even control this particular moment, this is making the world financial state unstable. I think that investment in different streams of income that doesn't depends on the govt to operate is the best solution to stay stable
