My biggest issue with this movie was how they revealed that John was the bad guy IN THE TRAILERS

3:55 another sin that was missed. Kyle recognizes the Terminator as soon as he sees him as the Terminator. When, in the first film Reese had no idea what the Terminator looked like. That was the whole point of Terminators. Looking human. He even says in the first film, "I had to wait until he moved on you before I could zero him." Nitpicking? Totally. But still a sin.

The line about the filmmakers not understanding what fans liked about the original two movies alone was worth the price of admission.

I'm never going to understand how the filmmakers could think that making John Conner bad was a good idea. No Terminator fan would ever want that.

It's probably been said on here many times. If they made the movie about an alternate timeline with a terminator protecting Sarah when she was a kid they really would have had a good movie. The scene where the terminator is walking and holding young Sarah as she hugs him is a touching scene. I wish they would have explored that.

I was completely lost in this movie. Say what you want about T3 & Terminator Salvation, but at least their stories were easy to follow.

A lesson on how to destroy a franchise. When i watched this the first time it was so effing confusing because of all the weird time loops. Then i watched it a few more times and yes, it really did destroy a franchise.

Another sin: They stole the time taveling into the future into traffic from the tv series Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Crazy how this and Salvation had ideas for trilogy's and neither happened. I know one of the big problems people had with Salvation was that it didn't represent the future we had seen in the 1st two movies. I didn't mind it as I felt the 2nd would have been the proper war with the storyline of capturing a T101 and reprogramming it, finding out about the time portal and sending Reese back and the Terminator to the two times, then the 3rd movie going up against Skynet. As for this movie, have zero idea what the plan was for the sequels. I tried rewatching this the other day and just the way they talk to each other is so wrong. I'm worried about Dark fate being similar.

Dam this was accurate, the time travel made no sense. They were referencing a timeline that didn’t exist, but how they knew about it makes no sense if you already in the new timeline. Hell how the T-800 even knew makes no sense lol

I know this movie is garbage, but... some parts of it I kinda enjoyed. Like just seeing Arnie as the terminator again, for example. Don't get me wrong, I know T1 and T2 are leagues ahead of this shit pile, lol. I was able to just have some fun with this. That's all.

I remember when this movie came out. I've been a Terminator fan for a long time and when it came out me and my brother went to go see it. We walk to the train station to catch to train to go the cinema. As soon as walked onto the platform, the train left and we had to wait 30min for the next one. When we got to the cinemas, we had to wait an hour for the next session. Finally after all that trouble, we witnessed this piece of crap movie.

just going to ignore the fact that judgment day took place in 1997 yet the movie shows buildings and cars from present day...

Jai Courtney *_sucks_* as Kyle Reese, not only did he even look anything like Reese in the '84 film - even physically, he looks too muscular compared to Biehn - but he doesn't even try to mimic Biehn's mannerisms in the orig, he always has that same stern look, like as if he's trying to act like a Terminator. Hell, I could perfectly mimic Biehn's Reese performance down to a T, and this is coming from a huge Michael Biehn fan. Another problem I have is that Courtney's Reese seems to be too invincible, what made Biehn's Reese appealing, to me, is that he was an ordinary human soldier who gets wounded and bleeds, he's got scars all over him. After being shot in the climax, he obviously is shown falling down sometimes from the wound.

The amount of time paradoxes in this make it so good

Retitled everything that was wrong with Genisys got a whole lot worse with Dark Fate

I like this movie. Its not as awesome as T1 or T2 ,but way better than T3 and Salvation!
