For me much more intresting question would be if you posted how far in the future Earth would have been. Had you stayed on Miller's planet since 7th November 2014? I am not smart enough to be able to calculate it. That's why i am curious, because i have the strong feeling that would be some crazy high number. The like of either Humanity is gone or have reach type I level. Am i wrong? Can you calculate that one?
@ErenYeager7777824 күн бұрын
@@randar1969From November 7, 2014, to May 14, 2024, is approximately 9.5 years. If one hour on Miller's planet corresponds to seven years on Earth, the total time elapsed on Earth would be 9.5 years * 24 hours/day * 365 days/year * 7 years/hour ≈ 5,246,100 years. So, if you had stayed on Miller's planet since November 7, 2014, from Earth's perspective, approximately 5,246,100 years would have passed! This is indeed a mind-boggling number, and a lot could have changed on Earth in such a vast amount of time.
@AMITKumar-sm6lc24 күн бұрын
@@randar1969From November 7, 2014, to May 14, 2024, is approximately 9.5 years.The time dilation factor for Miller's planet is about 61,000 times slower than Earth's time due to the gravitational time dilation near the black hole . So, if you had stayed on Miller's planet since November 7, 2014, Earth would have experienced approximately 9.5 years * 61,000 = 579,500 years.This means that about 579,500 years would have passed on Earth during your stay on Miller's planet.

If we find aliens, or if aliens find us, then there are two possibilities. Possibility one: we are the first sentient creatures they have discovered and we create a strong bond and we combine cultures solving each others problems and helping us along our technological path. We are at peace. Option two: they have seen many sentient species and will only care for us if we have a resource that's important to them. Which we probably don't. Both are different and have very different outcomes. All we can hope is that option one is true.

When I was a young girl, perhaps 8 or 9, I attended Catholic school. Once a week, each class had to attend early morning Mass. I took the bus, so I always arrived late. If we were late, we had to sit in the rear of the church. It was a mystical experience, to sit in the back in the relative darkness, and hear the pipe organ playing above in the loft. I was so moved, tears would be streaming down my face. The music and the atmosphere made my spirit feel as if it was taking flight. An experience beyond words... The first time I heard this soundtrack it took me back to those moments and left me tingling. It is amazing how a piece of music can stir one's soul. And it STILL does!

To everyone who is sad, grab a snack, have some water, get a blanket, and write down your thoughts. When you're done, lay down and get some rest, no matter the time. To everyone who is creating, you got this. Your creation looks terrific. Remain in your flow and get stuff done! This song makes me realize how tiny we are. We are literally the size of a micro-organism compared to the monstrosities of space. This song makes me cry. It makes me think if I'm actually the only copy of myself. Is there other dimensions? Other universes? Earth was formed billions and billions of years ago from massive explosions of stars and then we tiny creatures came to be. the thoughts this song gives are out of this world.

Erin L and Nolan is such a perfectionist,did u notice when cooper was not able to breathe on Dr. Mann's planet and was trying to reach for the transmitter, at that same moment,Murph decided to go back to her room to find an answer. U see,both the events where necessary for human future and both where free will,and took place at the same moment. this is breathtaking. So,t contradicts free choice which gives way to fate which is totally non-science .

We've always defined ourselves by the ability to overcome the impossible. And we count these moments. These moments when we dare to aim higher, to break barriers, to reach for the stars, to make the unknown known. We count these moments as our proudest achievements. But we lost all that. Or perhaps we've just forgotten that we are still pioneers. And we've barely begun. And that our greatest accomplishments cannot be behind us, because our destiny lies above us.
