Time is an illusion, a construct of this Dimension. It has no bearing on an eternal soul. If you accept that you are in fact a corporeal being existing in the realm of time, then you will live and die there; but if you accept that your soul is eternal and a unique expression of light within this realm, but it is rooted in a realm beyond time and space then you can never be destroyed, only reanimated in different L.I.F.E. forms.

At the end of the movie you're left to wonder whether he's dreaming or this is a reality. The true meaning of the scene is that he doesn't care anymore. However, there are number of signs that it isn't dream, it is real. First and quite obvious sign: the toy doesn't keep spinning, it loses momentum as the scene ends, suggesting this is real. Another sign: we actually see the kids faces. In dreams, they always run away, turning their faces away from their father and away from camera, but at the end, the kids actually greet their father and you could see their faces. Third sign is that the proffesor is there and he never appears in dream scenes, thus this should be real. And maybe more signs can be found, which I am not aware of...

What if there is life outside of time? Is not time just another dimension of measurement, like space? What if there are other measurements we know nothing about? What if there are planes of existence apart from our own understanding? Other beings that don't measure using time or space, who aren't restricted to any dimensions, but move through them as easily as we walk to the store. They would look at us with pity and curiosity, as one would look at a fish trapped in a fishbowl, swimming in circles. If we could see and know what is outside we would be overwhelmed, like if that fish were dropped suddenly into the vast ocean. Our narrow view of existence is slowly expanding as we explore further through time and space, but there is so much more to see and discover.

I am always trying to look for a work of art that has a tone of being subtle and also uprising a bit at the same time. I can be relaxed and thoughtful while listening to such a great piece of work that it can practically be implemented in everything I do to hype myself up. This is it.

I woke up in 2018. Yes, I reminisce about 2010 when I first heard this, my daughter playing in the other room. My wife walking around the house, giving me a smile here and there. The atmosphere was warm, and gentle with a rhythm of love about it.. I was just sitting there imagining how could it be better? Then a storm came, a storm unlike any other. I endured, but our relationship did not. It swept me away, far, far away..Into the ocean. The waves were violent, and had no mercy. At times I thought I was done, but I endured wave after wave of relentless torment. I must have lost consciousness because I awoke in a desolate place, void of love or emotion. My wife and daughter were gone..I awoke in 2018

The best part of this song is that it really makes you think of time. 12 years since I first saw this film and at the time my adult life was just starting. Listening to this brings back a lot of memories that I haven't thought about in a long time.

Hans Zimmer is a musical genius! I tend to listen to a lot of his music (mainly this piece, songs from The Dark Knight and Pirates of the Caribbean) when I’m journaling and story writing. Music with no lyrics helps me concentrate. And they’re all fantastic films to boot as well! Inception is an absolute classic!

The truth is when scientists say things like “5 billion years ago “, it scares me because it makes me feel so irrelevant in this world. It makes me understand that a lot of humans have lived on earth without actually exploring the possibilities therein. It’s as if we are all just programmed to pass through time without knowing much about time. We all die with the assumptions in our heads. All the ‘what if’s’ die with us. This is so sad. Humans need to do more. That arrogance that makes us think we know so much even when we know nothing. It’s scary that time might never stop moving. To what end are we all living?
