Official Plot:
[The Flash] Worlds collide when the Flash uses his superpowers to travel back in time to change the events of the past. However, when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, he becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation. With no other superheroes to turn to, the Flash looks to coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian -- albeit not the one he's looking for.
[No Way Home] Spider-Man seeks the help of Doctor Strange to forget his exposed secret identity as Peter Parker. However, Strange's spell goes horribly wrong, leading to unwanted guests entering their universe.

To the Movies (2018); he was originally cast as Superman in Tim Burton's unproduced film Superman Lives.
Through the use of AI & deepfaking, previous incarnations of Superman, Batman, and Supergirl appear during the "Speed Force" sequence, Christopher Reeve as Superman from the 1978-1987 Superman films, Helen Slater as Supergirl from Supergirl (1984), Adam West as Batman from the 1966 film &television series, and George Reeves as his version of Superman from Superman and the Mole Men (1951) and Adventures of Superman (1952-1958), through the use of archive footage. Archival recordings of Cesar Romero and Jack Nicholson as their versions of The Joker from the 1960s series and 1989 film, respectively, along with Eartha Kitt's Catwoman from the 1960s series, are also featured.

I still haven’t seen The Flash but I know my answer is No Way Home. Flashpoint is a good comic but the animated movie is even better. I don’t like how the Flash movie looks to do Flashpoint.

Honestly it adapted the flashpoint story more accurately than I expected, yes it changes the characters involved and there’s no reverse flash but it still follows similar plot beats like losing his powers and the electric chair. It’s not as good as the original but it was more accurate than I expected. I’d recommend watching it once if you ever get the chance but yes No Way Home is superior

Loved this video. You said exactly what I was thinking when it comes to both of these films. Its very interesting to see the hate from both, but I enjoyed both of them. Both have issues. Some more than others....(the flash). But both are enjoyable

Yo great video! Sorry I’m late commenting on this video! I loved No Way Home and I really enjoyed The Flash! The Flash is blatantly obvious, trying to copy No Way Home formula with the fan service and the amount of cameos and has awful CGI.. but The Flash is a entertaining mess but the best part is Michael Keaton as Batman! As for his death? I think they were trying to give him like a perfect sendoff i think it was well handled but it needed more heart to the story and better written characters arcs! While I appreciate the attempt trying to have a heart warming scene with Barry Allen and his mum I think the movie should of done more with that.. and it’s obvious the third it had multiple endings.. I wonder if I’ll ever get the ultimate cut?.. like the Snyder cut.. No Way Home has more heart to the story and the characters written way more better and gives us the information what the characters have been doing like Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield Spider-Man and gets their characters arcs justice! Had better written villains and better CGI while some dodgy parts.. No Way Home succeeds as a Multiverse while I feel like they could of gone even bigger with the Multiverse even more extreme like what did and the writing could of been stronger but No Way Home does this way better than Doctor Strange the Multiverse of Madness and respects the source material! No Way Home is a fantastic movie one of MCU bests films does incredibly well with fan service and it’s one of my favourite cinema experiences and The Flash is a mess with awful CGI but I really enjoyed it with entertaining action! The cameos are crazy and the fan service was so forced but it was hard to not enjoy sure it was forced but I did really enjoy it even it didn’t serve the story.. The best part is really Michael Keaton as Batman and this film is going to fail anyway, because of the lead actor and the trouble production.. but it’s a fun mess Great video as always! Would you ever make a video like Spider-Man No Way Home Vs Into the Spider-Verse/Across the Spider-Verse? Like a fun comparison? Like this film does this better and this film does it better watch this film could’ve done more and what this film could’ve done more than what they could’ve added and stuff like that!

Thanks for watching! Regarding Keaton's death I don't think they were trying to give him a send off, remember the original ending for this film had Keaton return as Batman joining the DCEU for the future and the batgirl movie, but because of Gunn taking over they changed the ending. I think the plan was for him to die but it wouldn't matter because Barry resets everything and then he joins the DCEU so he didn't really die, but because they changed the ending, it results in him actually dying which is a weird ending. Thanks for the video suggestion, that would definately be interesting, its hard because those movies are trying different things, honestly a more fair comparison would be Dr Strange 2 VS Across the Spider-Verse, both are about travelling across the multiverse with alternate versions and a secret society of superheroes with cameos!

No Way Home is pure garbage. The Flash all the way for having a more well executed build up to the multiverse antics. Peter wanting everyone to forget that he's Spider-Man and Dr. Strange being a total tool and a fool enabling the little shit is just poor and lazy writing. Plus, Tom Holland simply cannot act. Ezra Miller sold his performances as multiple Barry Allens flawlessly. Then there's Andrew and Tobey, who phoned it in so hard, it took me out of the movie entirely (not to mention the shitty humor. "You're AMAZING. YOU'RE AMAZING. Get it? Because you were in the Amazing Spider-Man movies? Hot garbage written by a male toddler. The Flash's supporting leads in Michael Keaton Batman and Sasha Callé Supergirl are way more human, well rounded characters. They actually serve a purpose in Barry's story, and even help him evolve. And in story, Supergirl is the reason the DC multiverse is ultimately saved. Thanks to older Barry's kindness to her, she paid him back by getting his powers back. Everything served a purpose. Nothing in No Way Home mattered. Especially when to this day, we've had zero good Spider-Man movies. They were all objectively awful films, so what made Disney and Sony think that by putting them together, we would get a winner. Everyone was duped by the nostalgia 100%. The Flash had nostalgia, too, but the haters keep ignoring the fact that the majority of the film is Barry's story, and it's a story that moves forward. Michael Keaton Batman even explains how time travel and the multiverse works better than the MCU ever has, so that normal people, and not nerds with fake science theories can understand it (and finally accept it).

Wow this is an interesting take. I agree with some of this but not all of it. Firstly, as I say in the video The Flash does have a much better introduction and build up to the multiverse. Way better than Peter wanting to make people forget. BUT it has a far more emotional ending with May's death and losing his identity, compared to the Flash which has 0 stakes by the end and no consequence to his actions (he actually benefits and saves his dad). No way you can say that Andrew and Tobey phoned it in, they gave good performance and Andrew was clearly trying hard in his performance to redeem his character. You must be joking to say Keaton's Batman and Supergirl were well rounded characters who serve Barry's story. Keaton (who is great in the role) doesn't actually have much to do except move the plot from scene to scene, and Supergirl is barely a character, literally what does she do except act as a plot device. Neither of these characters serve Barry's story except to die, compared with Garfield and Maguire who literally influence Holland's arc and also learn from him in return. You can't say objectively awful when judging films, like thats not how objectivity works, its all opinion. Much like you say about the Flash being Barry's story, you are doing the same thing to No Way Home which is clearly Holland's story from start to finish with nostalgia elements which actually help the film. And come on, you can't talk about time travel in the flash which literally contradicts itself and the multiverse working better when no-one (even scientists) actually know how the multiverse works. This is fiction. I like both of these films and I think both films work as a story for their lead actor outside of the nostalgia, however I think the flash has a better set up while spidey has a better pay off and conclusion. I think the flash fails its nostalgia and it actually takes away from the film and takes away from the very effective personal story that Barry was on. The Flash is best when it is not a multiverse film. No Way Home works as both a multiverse and a personal story (but yes it has a bad set up as I say in my video)
