What do you do if there is a Y or T in the pipe?

They do what is called a reinstatement., So after it cures they cut a hold at the y or tee to open it back up.

He said "can negotiate 90 degree turns, as the cut-away shows" referring to the see-through section of the pipe showing at that point in the video.
