Hi Sir! I used to take Cipro 2 years ago. I had serious side effects related to my knee joints and peripheral nerves. Now I have recovered a little but not completely. What if I get sick in the future? If I have an infection, can I take Cipro or is it contraindicated?

If you are referring to hot tub folliculitis/infection yes it is one of the antibiotics which can be used.Note, Antibiotic options ialso nclude beta-lactams, carbapenems, or other fluoroquinolones that have antipseudomonal activity.
