My group is primarily 2&3 year olds. We start short at the beginning of the year and add to it as they are ready. Love the treasure box idea! It would be great if you are having tough behaviours in your class!

During my classroom circle Time we have children to do a welcoming song and the children sing along with the teachers who came to school today , the children can also choose thier own movenment or dancing Maria Newman

I split my circle time through out the day. 2 for 10 min. Afternoon 5-8.

I have a few that like to sit in chairs just outside the circle. Being in the circle is a bit overwhelming for them they do great sitting in the chairs.

The child that needed to stroke or March his fingers…I have him in my class, as many do. But if I let him do that to me in order to keep him from bothering his classmates, 8 more children will be clamoring for the same thing. I don’t know how to accommodate that. Advice?
