A straps or silk rope routine is arguable the defining feature people think of when CirqueduSoleil is mentioned. For me, it's like going to the moon, an extraordinary mark of human achievement, precision, with a dramatic mark of flair all sewn in one.

Alegría was my first Cirque show. I was 5 when I saw it. The straps act and the gorgeous music mesmerized me. It’s my dream to audition for Cirque as a singer.

Even with shows coming back, I'd love to see a Best of Balancing Acts with things like Rola Bola and Balancing on Chairs (if only to see my favorite La Nouba act with Vasily Demenchukov).

I have loved Cirque for years, I have seen every show they have in Las Vegas several times each. I have seen about 4 of their touring shows. But I hear they have gone all woke, taking away free choice from their employees and forced them to get the vaccine or get fired. I guess I won't be going back to see them again. Such stupidly and short sighted business model.

It‘s a shame you see it that way, instead of seeing it for what it really is: a public health measure to prevent spread and keep staff and audience safe! “Woke” has become such a ridiculous buzz word, you really should stop using it!
