I am not a Doctor, but I recently had very high LFT results and was looking to understand the results (unfortunately my doctor didn't explain anything to me). Your videos are exceptional. I learned so much and it greatly helped me understand the results. I am now going back to my doctor with some idea of what he needs to look at. Could you comment on any of the nutrition implications of cirrhosis? You mentioned low sodium for acites but what about risk of hypoglycaemia and muscle catabolism due to decrease in glycogen made /stored in the liver? How do we treat this and what are the pathways? What are the other decline in liver functions that we might need to address?

I'm watching this in hopes of convincing myself to stop drinking too much. I know I drink too much, like everyday, and I know the affects but can't seem to stop. I never drank like this until a few years ago. Now I can't seem to stop and get antsy

Do you have a video about liver cancer. I have cirrhosis not candidate for transplant due to having Crohn's disease. I have stage 3 Kidney disease and autoimmune hepatitis. I have had liver ultrasound every 6 months for 3 years. I had an MRI last week and liver is developing cancer. So getting MRI every 3 months. If you have a video on this please let me know. Thank you.
