Cirrus designed the SF50 Vision Jet to be a natural step up for piston pilots, and we'll show you how that worked out in an AOPA flight test.

Totally Awesome, they were finally able to get the unit finished and get it to market... Hopefully, they'll have a lot of success wirh this extremely exciting personal jet and finally get the personal jet market going.

I want one. I mean, sure, I don't have a pilot's license, my vision's going as I get older, and it would cost me 40 years of salary, but I still want one.

It has a parachute so that the plane glides down to the ground slowly like a helicopter without free falling which is a feature that I really like
@Alex-us2vw6 жыл бұрын
That Cirrus “feature” is due to the FAA requiring it for spin recovery which better designed planes can do with their wings. Pulling the chute is the only approved method of recovering a spin in a Cirrus. Meanwhile flight students around the world are recovering from intentional spins in Cessna as basic training. Lol

I want one.. It's the cheapest private jet out there. But unfortunately with 600 orders being placed since the staring of this project in 2006 until now with production rate starting from 25 and will reach a maximum of 125 units a year, I won't be able to get one very soon. Side note: I don't know why they didn't mention that this cute airplane has a parachute that can be deployed during emergencies.. :)

After looking at the specs I think I'll stick with my current upgrade pick, the PC-12 NG. I'm not sure what the point of a jet like this is when its useful range is so small.

Looks like is a plane for your flying enthusiast not for a "rich family man" who want to jet around with his family.Sort of like buying a 2 seater sports car , only a lot more expensive.. If you want a plane for a family of 5 to "jet around" buy a Gulf Stream at least.Of course to do that you have to be "seriously rich" not "just a dollar millionaire" but probably closer to being a billionaire than a mere millionaire.

Everything is a trade off in a plane & when it comes to something this small with lots of limitations I can't see them being sold in the thousands. Most rich business men wouldn't put their family in a single engine very limited small plane like that

The problem is not speed is: a single engine plane! So much money and when you lose an engine...well is a cessna again. :\
@paulogden74177 жыл бұрын
disagree - it has a parachute. Safer in the real world than dealing with an engine out on a twin. And engine outs on jets are extremely rare.
@kakerake60187 жыл бұрын
no bro it has a parachute and stop thinkin like the FAA, prop and jet planes main difference is engine reliability

@Three_Random_Words3 жыл бұрын
@@pavcueto My problem with China and a good share of its citizens is many things. Mostly it's the gov. The recent heavy hand in Hong Kong, the ongoing occupation of Tibet, and the re-education camps for Uygher Muslims. I also have problem with their rampant theft of intellectual property. The manufacture of counterfeit goods. The manufacture of toxic products. The manufacture of shitty products. The pollution of their own lands. The constant building of new coal fueled power plants, and it's poisoning of the Pacific Ocean with mercury and other heavy metals. On and on and on and so on - the maximum wage guidelines to keep China artificially competitive. The propaganda that paints the rest of the world in severe distortion. Chinese citizens have a severely distorted view of themselves thanks to the censors. Good thing I made a copy of this in case it disappears again.
