I remember Deepak Vohra from the time he used to host a morning show on Doordarshan over 30 years ago - & what I remember is his wonderful eloquence in both English & Hindi ! He has made great strides in the field of international diplomacy, but still retains those skills of an outstanding TV anchor 🙏

Well, PM told the women recently to do a favor by serving food only so much as is need and to avoid wasting food! The amount of food wastage in weddings, parties etc crosses over a lakh crores ... Amazing to listen to Deepakji's 52 day sleeping without food in 1966... time before my birth!

I wished our pm, hm, speaker and the cji should be a good JUDGE with balanced decisions, promoting love, unity & peace, especially for our most common citizens in our country, giving JOY in 2024. Reporters, as usual, many will, of course, take sides of the present ruling party, which is very sad, unfair and unsupportive !

# even after the incidents in eastern ladakh trade with china has continued to boom. china continues to be the largest importer of both raw cotton and cotton yarn from india. 81 percent of india's iron ore export in 2021 went to china. by the first eight months of 2023 india's export of iron ore and pellets doubled the total for 2022. again, by june 2022 china emerged as the single biggest buyer of non basmati rice from india of which 97 percent is classified as broken rice yielding a lower price whereas in reality much of that rice was sound whole grain albeit not of the best quality. by the close of 2022 our trade deficit with china crossed 100 billion US dollars to 101.02 billion US dollars. in 2021 the deficit stood at 69.38 billion. it is even said that most of our deepavali decorations as well as rakshabandhan rakhis are supplied by exporters from china.
