That city is the home of the Convention Center, the Marbles IMAX movie theater, the Marbles Kids Museum, and so much more around this whole entire city!

Don’t come here. I’m a city of Raleigh police officer and we are experiencing a critical shortage. City council just passed a budget to increase the pay of rookies 20% but veteran officer only get 3% which means even more will be quitting. The 20% for rookies won’t be enough to keep them either. The city is falling apart by a safety standpoint so please, go somewhere in the outlying areas. 635 cops is not enough for 515k residents especially when you consider there’s only about 250 cops that are assigned to answer 911 calls. 250 total which equates to about 35-50 per shift for anywhere between 1.2 million and 515k citizens.

Lived in Raleigh my whole life and it definitely use to be better. Too many damn Yankees and West Coasters moved here and fucked everything up

I know a lot of West Coasters That actually moved out of there years ago, it's the Republican Yankees west coasters who left blue states and moved to Raleigh who fkd everything up, just ask Texas, they ruined Texas reputation.
