We live in Texas too and have been worried about our June baby being in the car seat for walks during the summer!

Also in TX and expecting another baby girl next month. I am considering the pram kit, but was curious if the second seat has to face the parent or if the toddler can face the world with the pram facing the parent. I noticed on the add-on video, Joel turned the lower seat around, so I’m assuming that’s the only way it fits because of the length of the pram. Is that right?

I had watched this while pregnant and it ultimately helped me to choose this stroller.. coming back to it now when my baby is 9 months old to relearn all these tips and tricks! I’m wondering which stroller organizer you use. I have one from Skip Hop but it’s hard to access the drinks when the top seat is facing forward.

Well I’m kind of late and I’m hoping you answer my question. But can this stroller just be for one child too? Like me and my significant other are thinking of having another kid but we have no idea if it’s gonna happen. I noticed you took both seats out.

Yes this stroller can be for 1 child. The Bassinet and the second seat are purchased separately as needed. This is what makes the City Select Double Stroller so versatile. From 1 to 3 kids you have many options. Good question. Thank you for asking.

I'm having my second kid in January when my first will be around 22 months. My toddler likes to sleep in the stroller, so I'm wondering how it is to lay the toddler seat flat both in combination with the bassinet and also putting one or both toddler seats flat when we start using the seats for both kids?

Kirsti, thank you for watching and for the comment! This stroller had several combinations and movements and that is why we went with it. I believe with the bassinet in the top position, (close to the handle bar) and the toddler seat on the lower position, over the from wheels facing in, (or towards the handle bar) that this could be the best position for the toddler seat to recline. We eventually found a few combinations that worked best for us. Hope you guys have the same success. Congrats on baby #2! Praying for a smooth delivery for you and baby!

I have seen so many reviews on this double stroller but none of them dive into how the two seats recline. Are there multiple reclining levels? Or is it sitting straight up or completely flat? I need one that reclines on multiple levels.

Sarah, thank you for watching. Yes, these seats do recline at several intervals. However, when both seats are on the stroller, there will be limitations to the amount of recline, if any at all.

The description for the adapter we have says it woks with: Cybex Aton, Aton 3S, or Aton Q, Maxi Cosi Mico AP, Mico Max 30, Pebble, Cabrio Fix, Pebble Plus, or Nuna Pipa infant car seats. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!

Do your older children still fit well in the seats? Also does it maneuver well when you have two children in it at the same time? Also when both seats are facing forward does the child in the back have ample leg room?

We have a 6yr old that does not ride any more and a 4 yr old that still fits pretty well with her baby brother of 9 months. You can feel a difference when there are multiple kids in the stroller but it still controls and maneuvers well. The leg room is tight but still comfortable. We have had really good success with taking it wherever we go with multiple kids.

Great question Nicole! Tandem facing out works best for us, and we put the kid that will get in and out the most in the lower or front, because it’s easier for them to jump in or out! Lol!!!! Less climbing, less picking up and putting in the upper seat! Lol! There is a noticeable weight distribution as well, so try it each way to see what works best! Good luck! Have fun! I've heard that baby jogger material are susceptible to sun damage but yours looks fine from what I could see. Was there any sun damage that we can't see in the video? Our city select does not have different levels. Your husband showed that the car seat could be put on different levels, is this a new feature? We just purchased the stroller last year.

Mike, good question. Our stroller is several yrs old, and it came with 3 level options. 2 on the frame and the third option we had to purchase adapters for. The third was the lower option above the small wheels. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching and for the comment!

Do you prefer the bassinet attachment versus using the car seat infant carrier?

We used the bassinet mostly for walks outside/at the park. We live in Texas, so it’s hot and we felt like the bassinet allowed air to circulate though to the baby better than when he was in the infant carrier. We like using the infant carrier in the stroller when we are on the go, it’s easy and convenient to clip the infant carrier in and go into the store.

The seat itself reclines to a flat position, but it is not a flat surface like the bassinet, so it’s not suitable for a newborn. Hope this helps! Thank you for watching!

Does the bottom seat recline facing out when there is a car seat on top?

Good question Keira, I will say it’s very limited movement even with the risers to add the baby carrier with the bottoms seat facing out or forwards. The piece that gets in the way the most is the canopy. There are two settings for the canopy. You can try to move the canopy clips to the lower setting on the frame of the seat. The clips are located on either side of the frame of the seat and if you look closely you will see two open metal sections that the clips fit perfectly in those spaces. Keep in mind the canopy also Velcro’s to the crown or top of the seat. This will have to be adjusted as well. Hope that helps. Thank you for watching Keira! Have a fun rest of your day! 😁

It’s pretty easy to store. We keep it in the car when we know we will need it. Otherwise, we keep it in the garage, folded or open. When the weather is nice and we go for walks a lot, we leave it open, so it’s easy to put the kids in and get out the door faster. 😀

At what age did your kiddos grow out of the “toddler” seat?

Good question, I think between 4-5 is when they stopped riding in the toddler seat as much and they would walk more. They still kind of fit now at 5-6 and sometimes want to ride, but not that often and not that long! Hope this helps! Thank you for watching!
