Have you taken the stroller in dirt? It says it has all terrain tires. I like to hike but don’t want a huge side by side jogger. Also can you add a snack tray to both seats. And is there a platform that can be added if the toddler wants to stand on the back?

This stroller looks great. My fiancée and I are expecting twins and we want to get the Britax B-Safe car seats so I’m researching different strollers that could be compatible. Where can we find those adaptors? & now that this video was 5 years ago, how did your City Select hold up? Would you still recommend. For us it’s between this and the THULE Sleek.

Hi Brenda! You can! Both seats can be swapped there are actually 16 different configurations. The second seat comes with the adapter you need :) the only thing that IS sold separately is the infant car seat adapter.

I honestly haven't had any problems with them shaking at all. That sounds like a manufacture defect maybe?

Hi I am looking into getting this stroller. Just wanted to know if I can close the stroller with the first and second seat still installed? I know it may be extra heavy that way but I just wanted to see if it was possible. Since, I have experienced at Disneyland, the shuttles require me to close the stroller but with a 3 kids and one more on the way. Its easier to fold the stroller and not have to carry the extra pieces.

Hi Lauren! In my experience, the stroller can not close with both, but it of course will with one attached. The extra seat is really lightweight if that helps at all. With three kiddos, its helpful to know that the stroller also sells a boogie board that attaches for older kiddos. That way you could get all three on at once! Have fun at Disney!

Vanessa, great question. When I looked at what the manufacturer said it references the BRITAX B-Safe or Chaperone infant car seats. I hope that helps!

Hi there! I would say the handling on this stroller is amazing. When the second seat is attached, due to the sheer weight it is a bit more difficult, but by far the best handling stroller i've used.

Hello, I have already purchased this stroller and am searching for a car seat that I like and that fits well with this system. We are hoping to get the Britax B Safe Elite. We went to Buy Buy Baby to demo different combinations but unfortunately they did not have the Britax adaptors to show how it would fit with the stroller. I was concerned though that some of the car seats we tried did not allow the toddler seat to face forward - the toddler seat had to face the back of the car seat carrier. I saw briefly in the video that you had the toddler seat facing out, but it looked very upright - do you find that it is a good fit or is it very limited in how it can be positioned once the Britax B Safe is in use in the top position?

That is great question, my toddler fits comfortably in there! I do find when the baby jogger seats are both installed and facing each out that my toddler's leg room is a little tight, but not enough to bug him. I got our britax adapters from bed, bath, and beyond of all places!

Hi there! We have the Britax B-Safe car seat. I actually ordered the adaptor from Bed, Bath, and Beyond online using a coupon! It was the best deal I could find, and its actually just two little pieces that fit into the stroller, super easy to use. To answer your question, yes the baby can actually be on the top or the bottom, the adapters fit into any of the connectors for the other seats. I hope this helps! +Maryke Wiese it's perfect for babies too! There are a couple options: 1. Purchase the bassinet attachments or 2. Purchase the car seat adapters, so that you can snap your car seat onto the stroller. I bought the car seat adapters and thought it was a much more affordable option! Hope that helps :)

Love your review. I am considering this stroller but I'm leaning towards the city mini double side by side mainly because it doesn't look like both children would be able to fully recline at the same time with the city select. How do you feel about that? Has that been a problem for you? Thanks 😄

Hi! I can get both seats to a full recline when they are facing one another, so that works! I like this style of double stroller b/c its super easy to fit through doorways, especially if you are out by yourself with both kiddos! Hope that helps a bit!

I have an almost 10 month old and a 2 yr almost 10 month old…my older one weighed 40 lbs at his 2 year appt so I’m sure he must be close to maxing out the seat weight soon which is unfortunate because I was hoping it’d last longer with both kiddos. My struggle is that both my kids use the tray and both like to face forward to see everything happening. It’s hard to get my little one in and out because the tray won’t open when we are out and about. Also often one falls asleep on outings and I can’t recline just one seat. I was thinking to take my little one’s tray off to make it easier, however then she loses the option to have her sippy cup or any snacks.

You talked about being able to remove the shoulder straps for when the kids get older. I would love to figure out how to do that. I have a 2015 and can't figure it out. :-/ my buckle looks different than yours.

There isn't an insert for the actual seat, but Baby Jogger sells a bassinet attachment for babies aged newborn to 6 months it runs $99 and you can find it here: www.babyjogger.com/browse-accessories/city-select-accessories/

@@JessvanDalfsen I have only used it a few times and only as a single stroller but I love it! It is big but that’s to be expected. So at the mall it was a little tricky in some areas bc stores don’t always set up for enough space for strollers. But that’s the only thing I noticed. It’s so smooth and easy to push! Can push it with one hand. Love that I can easily change the seat configuration even while out! Hope you like yours too!!

Congrats!! So, City Select does make adapters for infant car seats, we have one for our Britax car seat and it worked awesome. You could just grab two car seat adapters and it would work great! I can tweet ya a pick of what I'm talking about if that'd help, just let me know!

Yes! you can put one "big kid" seat in front and the car seat in the slot closest to you. Does that make sense?

Sorry for the delay getting back to you. I would say no, but only b/c its 40lbs, and that's a lot to lug around. you may be better off with two smaller strollers if you're looking to travel a bunch :)

Are you asking about the one on the handle? if so, its a telescoping handle, which means it can move in or out depending on your height :)

Nice review. I'm curious as to how much space it will take in the car. We have a Toyota Highlander. It seems like it's not as bulky as other double strollers....I'm assuming the best way to store it in the car is to fold it without the seats, then put the seats on top of the frame? Thanks

Hey Gus! It actually doesn't take up much room. It fits my husbands trunk of his Optima, so it will fit in your highlander for sure. I fold it without the seats attached and do exactly as you said place the seats on top. the seats are super easy to attach so its not a big deal to remove them.

Hi Rachel! I am not sure about the carry cot, I would say no since its by Maxi Cosi. Baby Jogger does sell a bassinet separately that can attach to the stroller.

I have this stroller, and laying the seats down isn't a problem...IF you have the seats in the right configuration.

Which configuration do you find the best to lay them down? My toddler occasionally falls asleep and he's usually in the front but when he does I'd like to recline him a little bit it seems to always hit the back seat.

+Cherise H yeah if both seats face forward it's not easy to recline. I would say either have the seats face each other. or both seats face you! always works great if I know kids need to recline :) hope this helps
