Sam, that was nice work. Not only will it help the area, as keep down rodents and mosquitoes and keep up morale but you did a classy job. You cleaned up trash, edged, trimmed, mowed and mulched the clippings. Very nicely done.

A tip for homeowners and professionals! After you weed those weeds out of the cracks in a driveway or sidewalk, use regular table salt to kill the roots. No poisons needed and it kills the roots all summer long. Get a new one? Pull it up and salt. Also, I trim around the house about 3 inches out to the dirt. And down the sidewalks and driveway. Then I mix up white vinegar and dawn dish soap and spray. You don't have to use your weedeater every week because no grass grows there. It works and you use no poisons. It makes your yard look manicured and keeps away most bugs and cats.

A grass catcher would have been easier. Yes, I know he would have had to dispose of the grass, but most places have recycling bins that you can dump yard waste in. Fantastic job here!

@@omahabigbill2789 My town in Ohio stopped collecting grass in the 90's. Mulching is better for the lawn.

@@barbrn Fer sure! I bought Toro's first (if I remember right) mulching mower in 1990. Their advertising convinced me it was the only permanent way to go. I did cut the grass without the grass catcher on previously, but their mower was better. I still have it and still use it!

@@ericparish533 I believe it. In the fifties we used to cut our lawns with the original mulching mower.........the reel type! Real tuff if you let the grass get too high!

that edger just makes it look great, a lot of the lawns you cut seem to have been left for a long time because the grass is inches over the top of the cement beside it.
