City TV nowadays is unwatchable. It's fallen that badly. Yikes.

Dammit, I want to see SCTV, too! ;-) Interesting, the Blue Jays season about to start that spring would ultimately see the first of their back-to-back World Series wins. :-)

I miss actual news casts. Heck I just miss TV being watchable.

they haven't left, and tv is still watchable

@@sillygoose635 There are no news casts. Only propaganda casts. And TV is only watchable if you have the intelligence of an 8 year old.

KageMinowara there are newscasts, little to no actual “propaganda” casts and tv isn’t watchable only if you have the mental capacity of a turnip

I'd also LOVE to see as many CityPulse NewsSerials as could be managed... for example, "Down & Out In Parkdale", I found No Fixed Address by Dan Petkovsek and that was a masterpiece... but, there was one I believe from 1982 or 1983... forgot if it was a NewsSerial or story itself... I believe it was either Lorne Honickman or Jeff Ansell who were placed to live on Welfare back then.... I'd love to see that piece again if it can be found?

I'd love to see FULL newscasts ftom 1991 both the 6 & 11pm versions with the commercials intact... they did great work sadly the only time CityPulse and for that matter Global News had messed up was when South Asian broadcasting great Lali Vij had been killed... ironically, Lali worked really hard over the 12 or so years he'd been on TV and gave both Global... then City, tremendous popularity but once we lost him... they distanced themselves... was real sad that CityPulse couldn't say producer of Radio & TV shows on this station... or offer condolences to the family on the air...btw, if anybody does have tapes of the newscasts... the dates would be May 28th, 29th & 30th of 1991
