Watching Great Movies on CityTV on a Friday or Saturday night was even more exciting than going to the cinema!

In March of 1985, I discovered this thing in Grade 11 called skipping a whole day of school and forging your parents signature that you were sick

I miss CityTV "Great Movies" lol. I didn't have cable during some periods of my childhood, but had a TV that picked up a few networks. CityTV came in clutch back then..

Anne was a sexy looking lady back then. I miss all that crew, including my favorite “Mark Daly” - “Citypulse… Everywhere” and when he said “Late, Great Movies”. Mark was the best.

yes he does very much so ..anyways I had forgotten how great the original Citytv used be before it became a hollowed out slimey cesspool of vacous crap with perhaps the odd exception just look at the detailed journalistic integrity being depicted in the above clip god damn reality shows

If this had been an episode of 'On The Buses', the Inspector would have shown up and made him sit at attention!

Can I go back to this date and start over?
@finnibertlunchiken77926 жыл бұрын
Clinton Fischer No. The best you can do is take advantage of the modern biological age slowing and longevity marker trends allowing you to effectively knock 12 years off your current age as compared to 1985. Also, realize that the current age of insanity we are living in will begin ( over the next 10 years ) to revert back to something more permanently resembling the 1980s in culture, tone and values. You can call this a slight return if you want.
