Civ 5 AI Only Timelapse: Korea, Death + Robots

This map is not designed for early expansions or fast steamrolls, but nobody told that to AI's. Relief is too complicated for direct attacks, and without controlling the central island, any wars with civs from the other side of the map are more like a suicide mission. Surprisingly for other civs, the island is already taken by Korea. And despite Korea likes many things, especially science and weird moves, to share its island with the invaders never was one of them.
I used Community Patch (global modification of AI and bug fix) forums.civfanatics.com/forums... and Terrain Texture Enhancement 2k forums.civfanatics.com/thread... for this battle.

That middle + late game warfare was so good, the Ottomans and the Japanese teamed up so well until the very end. Can't say more to not spoil much though! Great battle.

I love pausing at one minute and predicting who will win: I had Ethiopia number 1, Japan 2, and Ottomans 3.

I can see why. Civ 6 is great in some respects, but the AI and Diplomacy were definitely better in 5
