In this game of Civ 6, we’ll be playing using a mod that gives us a slight overhaul for Kupe in Civilization Six.
I say a slight overhaul. This mod has made it so that Maori has access to an extra district, unit and cultural ability! That’s right, we’re going to explore a HUGE map and then settle everywhere, being as much of as a Kupe as we can!!! Huzzah!!

I never knew you had to heal someone before deleting them. I have thousands of hours into Civ and never knew this. You learn something everyday!! HUZZAH!!

The point of deleting units is to have less upkeep for unnecessary units, and it can just make it easier for you to micro your army since less units

For the record, a city's borders will auto expand to any tile with a bonus resource if available (including naff ones like antiquities sites) before it will expand to any tile without one. I've thought about making a mod that lets you manually pick which tile the cities borders expand to, but I'm honestly not sure how to over-write that behavior, and it sounds like lot of work.

I'd imagine it'd be alot of work but man if it wouldn't be helpful like it's honestly quite irritating that no one can pick how your borders expand naturally (excluding of course purchasing the tiles) but I'm sure it'd be a very highly downloaded mod

an easy hack to not get the tile you dont want to be annexed next: place any unit on it. somehow this prevents you from getting that tile. ive observed this a fair few times. please do try it out and let me know!

The bonus resource tip is true! I for whatever reason expected the wonder tile to be above that in priority, not sure why!!

That double shot unique unit is very interesting. Effectively earning xp at twice the normal rate is a strong benefit. With Kabul onside as well they would rocket up the promotion tree.

If only could get a mod that could turn off the player border expansion entirely but allow you to pick which tile nearby possibly like purchasing said tile but make the first tile pick free for natural growth but any afterwards within the allowed turns between natural growth youll still have to pay for.

14:10 there is the thing where if you sell your strategics off you can (sometimes, I don't know the restrictions) build an earlier unit - does that work with upgrades?

Yes, but I couldn't do it with something like oil - as soon as the turn rolls over the unit would change as oil came in. Easier to do with something like horse / iron / niter that takes like 20 per stack

Can't you sell the oil and then upgrade to lower tech ones? Or is that only for producing?

Yes you can - the issue is that I'm earning it every turn so as soon as I press end turn, all the units would switch in the build queue. Only works for gold / faith purchases!

maybe a stupid question, but why couldn't you just put a fishing boat on one of the fish tiles to culture bomb great barrier?
